After constantly battling the Masked Ones forces, Oscar and Lyle have retreated to the demon world to plan a counter attack.
"H-hey!" Lyle protested, mildly wincing as he tried to force the scythe out of him. "This isn't what I've taught you! I haven't really taught you anything, but surely you've listened to me ramble about how bloodshed isn't the answer to everything! Wait.. did I say that? I know I thought it.."
The flying presence drew closer, rapidly so. The dreadful power she was exhuming could be made apparent. Lyle sensed it, despite his obliviousness.. that was how powerful this presence was.
"Hey, quit stabbing me for a second! Someone's coming!"
"Coooooooooming through!" An aggressive, female voice shouted as she dropkicked the weasel girl at maximum velocity. It was a Wyvern girl.
Now that she was out of the way, the Wyvern girl turned to Lyle. She saw the scythe embedded in his stomach. With one swift motion, it was pulled out of him, dripping blood all over the place. Seemingly uncaring of his wounds, the Wyvern knocked over Lyle, onto his back, and straddled him.
"Lyle, how are we, today?" She cooed.. she knew him?
"O-oh.. Rezda. I'm alright.. made some friends, but they threw me at my pupil. I'm teaching her how to be as cool as I am."
"Didn't realize stabbing you was a cool thing to do." This Wyvern, Rezda, tilted her head in confusion.
"Oh, she was just having an episode over an accident, don't worry. So, Rezda, what brings you by?"
"Oh nothing much, just some stuff from your brother and sis-in-law!" From under her wings manifested a large cardboard box, and several stamped papers. It was also at this point that Rezda got off of Lyle. Lyle gasped in shock and amazement.
"Bloody brilliant! Ow.. my wound.. er, ahem. My brother DID write me afterall! Oh I knew he'd pull through! Say, while I read through his letter, will you wake her up? I'd like for my pupil to know what my brother got me, too!"
"Sure thing." Rezda trotted over to the fallen weasel girl, swiftly, nonlethally kicking her in the ribs to rouse her. "Wake up, shortstack! Your sensei has need for you!"
Lyle got up into a seated position, holding the box close to him, and going through his papers.. but then he had a change of heart. He realized he was pretty far away from Oscar and the bunny girl.
"Actually... Rezda, I'll hold onto these things, I have a different request of you."
"Oh? Speak up, then!"
"See, I've been separated by my good friends, Oscar, and an unnamed girl in a bunny mask. You think you could.. pick me and that girl up, fly around a little, and drop us off by their position?"
Rezda paused at this, looking down at her talons.. but then back at Lyle with a confident grin on her face. "Yeah, sure! I'll handle that and I'll do it perfectly! My pride as a dragon relies on it!"
Rezda began to lift herself above the ground, gripping Lyle's head in her left talon, the weasel girl's in her right. With her passengers, the Wyvern Rezda had lift-off! She flew up relatively high, seeking out two individuals.. namely Oscar and the Bunny Girl. Now, where were they? Lyle held on tightly to his box and letters.. unwilling to let go. Rezda's grip wasn't crushing, but it was tight enough to keep these two in place. Now... where was this Oscar? This Bunny girl?
