Dimorphs are among a class of small of flying reptile mamono. They have an adult body but only at the size of a Compy or Fairy. They're bodies are rather petite in order for them to be able to fly more efficiently however they still have an adult figure. In place of arms they have membraneos wings similar to that of a bat, however unlike bats, only their pinky finger is used to support the wing structure and the other three fingers and the thumb remain intact to be used as hands, so they can still grasp and manipulate objects unlike harpies. They have taloned feet with very sharp claws and long tail tipped with a paddle like structure that is used as a rudder. Among others of the Rhamph family mamono though, they are a bit larger and more muscular. For their size they are very strong and can be surprisingly effective fighters.
Dimorphs often view themselves as a sort of squire. Often they wear clothes to suited as such and carry very small swords, should such a sword be unavailable they will also make do with half of a pair of scissors or large needle. They are often seem amongst groups of the herbivorous dino mamono, especially if that group has a Trike. They can also be found following and aiding groups of mamono who follow a knight like lifestyle or even a lone warrior. So long as the warrior believes in defending the weak and innocent they are willimg to aid them. Usually this is by doing various grunt work. They will often be seen polishing and maintaining the weapons and armor, preparing meals, and helping around the camp or base. By putting in a phenomenal effort and working together with their comrades a group can do things that even more normal sized mamono would be unable to accomplish. Once a group of Dimorphs had even fended off a rampaging Tyranno with nothing but well coordinated team work and an absolute refusal to give up. Through feets such as this the Dimorph has become a symbol for what hard work, determination, and cooperation can accomplish and it is often said the Reptile Kingdom military runs on their hard work.
In battle Dimorphs are surprisingly difficult foes. They are capable of flying at extremely high speeds with insane maneuverability. They make up for their lack of defense with simple fact that it's almost impossible to hit them. They strike repetitively from numerous angles. While their attacks don't do much they can quickly add up. They've also been known to strike the fasteners and straps in a persons armor causing it to fall apart or slashing at their opponents weapon arm to disarm them. Combined with the how well they work together and a flock of them can easily defeat a foe who doesn't take them seriously.
Dimorphs dream of finding and serving a true champion. A man who will fearlessly battle evil and defend the innocent from all that would harm them. A man who would never give up in the face of adversity. A man who's heroism knows no bounds. When they find a man who they believe meets such a criteria they will almost immediately fall in love. From then on they will be determined to become his squire. They will follow him to the ends of the earth if need be. She will assist him in everything she can. Tending his camp, cooking his meals, maintenancing his gear, and assisting him in battle. Few men have the heart to refuse the heartfelt loyalty they offer and they are almost always accepted.
The move to a sexual relationship is never forced by the Dimorph, to them, merely serving a heroic man is the greatest honor they can receive and the idea of forcing herself on him is a horrid crime. However the love and lust for the man she serves is often overwhelming to them. Nearly every night, after their knight has went to sleep the Dimorph will find some place to hide and pleasure herself at the thought of her knight. While they do hide it will never be far from her man so this usually ends with them being found out should the man awaken. Should she be discovered like this the Dimorph will confess her fealings of love and lust. Should he refuse she will continue to serve him, but should she find another heroic man she will inform the first man of her withdrawal from his service and start serving the other. Should accept however, she fly to him and immediately try to mate with him. To finally be able to serve her hero not only as a squire but also as a woman will make the heart soar higher and faster than their wings could ever take them. Like fairies their bodies are capable of stretching in order to receive her mates penis. A Dimorph will use their entire body and all her heart service her knight and drown him all the love and pleasure that she can.
A married Dimorph will never be far from her husband, where as before she would always be flying around busy working and keeping watch over the area she would instead spend any moment not working with her husband, often riding on his shoulder. This is so they can personally guard him and know of his needs and desires immediately instead of being called for, however it is more so that she can enjoy the feeling of being close to her man.
It should be noted that being followed by a Dimorph is a signal to other Dimorphs that you are a man worth serving, even moreso if you have a Dimorph on your shoulder. So men with a Dimorph will often find himself with more requesting to serve him. If he isn't careful he could end up with a whole flock of wives.
[And we have our first flier. Woot. I bet you guys weren't expecting a squire now were you? Well Dimorphodons and their relatives were thought to follow around large herbivores to feed on parasites and pests so it makes sense to have them be a sort of servant to a large herbivore and the only one that really fits the bill their is out knights in shining horns the Trikes, so Squire.
