The Edaph is type of desert dwelling mamono native to the Reptile Kingdom. They look similar to lizardmen however they are easily identifiable the the sail on their back. They're claws are short and blunted better suited for digging for roots and tubers than for slashing at foes. They have a soft, huggable body with large breasts.
Edaphs are gentle mamono who wander the desert wastes of the Reptile Kingdom. They live in small family groups where the spend most of their time foraging for food and medicinal herbs. They are well adapted to their home. They are capable of using the sail on their back to eject heat out of their body durimg the heat of the day and during the freezing night they will suck in the heat to stay warm. Because they eat almost entirely cacti and the roots that the local plants store water in they almost always have an excess of water stored in their bodies.
Due their gentle temperament they will not rape a man when they come across one. Instead they will simply offer to trade the various herbs they gather for what ever goods they might need at the time. Whatever herbs that aren't traded will usually end up being eaten.
Edaphs however are well known as desert saviors. When one comes upon a man who is lost in the desert or has succumbed to the heat she will immediately seek to help him. Those who are lost she will lead back to safety and provide for. If she finds someone who has succumbed to the rigors of the desert she will embrace him. Using her sail she will cool herself and suck out the excess heat from his body leaving him a cool comforting hug. At the same time she will send excess water into her breasts which combines with the medicinal properties of the plants she eats to produce revitalizing milk that she will feed to him to rehydrate and heal him. Once she is certain that he can be moved she will carry him off to safe place to nurse him back to health. They can be quite dedicated to saving someone, even going so far as to give up more water than they can afford or by carrying the person until they themselves collapse from exhaustion.
They are very affectionate and are honest with their feelings and will try to hug and cuddle anyone who spends a lot of time with them, be it be one of them, a trader who frequently visits them or a someone that they have saved. They will get the cuddles that they desire one way or another. Should a man accept and return her affection she will be overjoyed and declare her intention to mate and marry him. At this point it's almost impossible to refuse she will have already become devoted to him and will follow him to the ends of the earth if she has to. Should he become hard as she embraces him she will begin mating with him on the spot.
A married Edaph will seek to be by her husbands side and make him as comfortable as possible. She will travel with him where ever he goes and is usually be hugging onto him or clingy to his arm, using her body to cool him in the heat or warm him in cold. She will also take joy in providing him with drinks using her body.
[And here's our first desert RK Mamono. Based off of the Edaphasaurus which lived during the same time and looked some what similar to the much more famous Dimetrodon. These things were herbivores though. My primary inspiration for these was the idea of a desert Yeti. I think I nailed it and gave the world climate controlled snuggles. Beast Reptiles family mamono are the family mammal like reptiles belong in by the way. Information on the Reptile Kingdom and links to the other Reptile Kingdom mamono can be found here: (http://monstergirlencyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:The_Reptile_King/The_Reptile_Kingdom) You can also make suggestions there if you want, just follow the rules on that.
As per my norm, feedback and criticism is welcome and encouraged, so long as your criticisim is more than mindlessly insulting me, I want something useful out of it. So tell me what you think of her.]
