(Mine might be a little brutal but bear with me...)
Though my face was hidden behind my cloth mask and my eyes unmoving under my dark hood, I was...shocked? Surprised? I do not know...but seeing my wife...a powerful pharoh...a ruler...reduced to this? A mere maid? My left hand clenched tightly, the leather straining from how much pressure I was applying into that clench. I release it and subtley look at the ground, a small black droplet hits the ground and races off. I then look back to where the aphophis stood, so triumphant and so arrogant in her scheme of victory.
"Servants! Please...seize him!" the Apophis barks out her orders, a cruel smile on her face.
I hear footsteps and I look left and right, Anubis' were all around me. They all had faces of stone...but I could see the apologetic tone they had in their eyes as they obeyed the Aphophis. I look back up to where my wife was and she looks away in shame...and back to the apophis again. Behind her...ever so silently...a black tendril appears before sinking into the ground. A black shape could then be seen...growing...and slowly...taking on my visage. The anubis guards were getting closer...so I had to make this fast. With a small subtle nod to my mirror image, my avatar sneaks up on the unaware apophis before...
"Gugh!" The lamia grunts out loudly in pain.
The anubis guards come to a halt as they look up to the apophis. The apophis slowly looks behind her towards my mirror image whom tilts its head like a curious child in response. Time to...teach this little snake whom she was messing with...
"Kneel!" I barked, my voice echoing through the throne room.
"Gah!" The lamia cries out in pain as her body moved on its own accord and kneeled...or tried to with her anatomy.
I then reach out my other hand to the anubis guards whom also cringed and bowed slightly in pain as my power began to seep out of my body. Dark and white wisps slowly emitting from my clothing and armor.
"You will remember whom you owe your allegiance to." I snarled angrily at them.
"Yes...your majesty." A few of them muttered. "Forgive us."
Seeing my point got across I look back to the apophis whom was still kneeling and had a shocked expression on her face as she tried to lift her body up. While she was doing that however...I slowly...walked up the steps...my boots echoing loudly through the room. The apophis's expresison growing fearful as I got closer...and closer up to the top. While I made my way up, I spoke.
"So arrogant...so sure...so triumphant were you? Little snake?" I said with venom. "Kneel!"
The apophis cries out again as her body obeys my bidding. I look up to see my wife looking at me fearfully as well, my face softens slightly but it hardens like unfeeling steel as I look back to the little schemer next to her.
"I will ask...one...simple thing little snake." I say as I finally reached the top.
The step in front of the apophis whom was now fearfully looking up to me.
"Down!" I shout.
The apophis's body then crashes into the stone floor facedown...hard. Making her clench her jaws and muffle a cry of pain. I then walk over to her head...and lift my boot up before pressing it down on the side of her head. Digging her face into the sand covered stone floor.
"Husband enough!" My wife calls out to me, but my doppelganger holds her back.
I ignored her...I needed to discipline this arrogant little snake. I leaned down, pressing some of the weight into my leg that was over her head, earning another muffled cry of pain.
"When I first arrived here...and awoken my wife, I skulked about looking for you knowing that wherever a pharoh was...an apophis was sure to be nearby. No...traces of your kind ever set foot on these sands...until now. And to have made your way sucessfully past...my defenses I set up...one could not simply walk past them...so that leaves...either someone told you of those defenses...or transported you here. So...tell me...little girl...who...sent...you...here?" I said in the most darkest and intimidating tone. "If you do not answer...I will paint the floor with the remains of your skull."
I feel the apophis gasp in fear and shiver, I could see a small glimmer of tears in her eyes as I glare down at her.
"........"
I blinked at her silence before growling, twisting my boot into her head. This earns me a pained whimper from the lamia and a desperate cry from my wife.
"Xerxies enough! Stop!" My wife begs.
I continue to ignore my wife as I try to get answers from this little stubborn snake...I could feel she was close to breaking.
"One. More. Chance. Before your skull fragments will litter this floor...and your blood flowing like a river down these steps. So...I will not ask again." I hissed out. "Who. Sent. You. Here."
"Dr..." I hear her utter.
I lean down further.
"Again." I say.
"Druella." She says more clearly.
Hearing that name I growl angrily...so...I let my boot off of her head and turn away. While walking away...I hear the lamia trying to cry quietly, my face softens slightly as I she cries. I walk over to my wife whom seemed to shy away from me slightly. I sigh before grabbing her into a tight hug, knowing that she was safe...and my wife seemed to feel it too and hugs me in return. I take off her collar and I could feel a rush of power flow back into her body. She looks at her hands before--
I muffle my grunt of pain as my wife punches me in the gut, but I remain still as she looks at me angrily with small tears in her eyes.
"You idiot. You didn't need to do so much like that!" She said.
"Only...to make sure you were safe...and to know who wanted to ruin the kingdom you built Anexia." I countered quietly.
"Still..." My wife says in a quiet tone. "What will we do with her?"
We both look back to the apophis whom I released her body from my control. She was sitting up, crying and holding her arms. I sigh again at her pained form...so I release my wife and walk back to the unaware apophis. It wasn't until she saw and heard my metal boots clanking right next to her did she react.
"Please don't kill me!" She cried out fearfully. "Please! Please no!"
She raises her arms and coils her snake body to protect herself and I simply look at her. I then...slowly...offer my hand to her. She looks at me confused yet very fearfully at the same time.
"I'm offering you...one more chance...little snake. But...rest assured...I'm not going to hurt...nor kill you." I whispered to her.
She looks at me again fearfully...and unsure and back to my hand. Moments pass...before she finally and hesitantly accepts my hand. I tighten my hold and help her up, when she stood, I cleaned her up a bit. Wiping off the sand from her body and hair. I then simply look at her and then to my wife, then back to the apophis.
"From this day forth...you..." I drawled before leaning closer to her, making her flinch. "...you...are mine. Body and soul...mine alone...understand?"
"Y...yes...master..." the apophis stutters out.
I then began to gently pull her along with me, back to my wife. She looks at me confusingly and them away from my wife in shame. My wife however offers her a reassuring and kind smile, which she hesitantly returns. The apophis then looks back to me.
"Where are we going?" She asks me.
I and my wife look at one another before looking back to her. A small seductive smile slowly etching onto her lips as she presses herself against me.
"Somewhere...where we can...become...more acquainted...my little snake." I say.
She blushes as she figured out what I meant and I gently pat her head, earning a small blush from her.
"But before we can...what is your name?" I asked.
"My name?" She repeats. "My name...it...it is Aveena...master..."
And from that day forth...I got to bed my wife...and get much more..."acquianted" with my new monstergirl addition. And after that...plans to oppose the extremist factions...both Order and Demonic.
