Zins are a type of Drake often known as Thunder Wolf Drakes due to their prowess in using of lightening and their wolf like howl. They have teal scales and yellow armor scutes on their body as well as white pseudo-fur. They have large claws on both their arms and legs as well as small blades coming out from their wrists and ankles. They have a large powerful tail, which they freely use to club their opponents. On their heads they have two horns pointing foreward as well as small wolf like ears. Zins absorb electricity as they do so, a blue glowing marks form on their body, eventually they reach a super charged state causing an electrical aura to form around them, their hair and fur to stand on end and for spikes to jut out of their armored parts. When enraged their electrical aura glows even brighter and the spikes on their armor stand even more prominently. Like all dragons, Zins are capable of taking on the primal form that they had before monsterization.
Zins dwell in mountains and forests all throughout the Reptile Kingdom. They hold large territories and live mostly solitary lives, living independently from each other. However they aren't hard to find if a person were to know what to look for. Zins are quite fond of lightening bugs. One of their prefered ways to relax is to simply lay down where these bugs cam be found and watch the twinkling lights. For some unknown reason, these bugs are also attracted to the Zins as well. For this reason, all one has to do to find an area where a Zin frequents or has made her home is to head out at night and find an area with an unusually high number of lightening bugs. Where there are areas like that, a Zin is sure to be nearby.
Zins are prideful and for good reason. Among Drakes there are few who can match them in terms of speed, acrobatic agility, and physical power. They often end up being near the top of the food chain in the areas the dwell in as the powerful Dragons and Tyrannos who can beat them are rare. Zins usually move in a confident swagger that makes it quite clear that they belive themselves too powerful for any normal foe to beat. Often they require an opponent to prove his/her strength before the Zin will them seriously. Despite their arrogance however, Zins are actually rather pleasant to be around. They are rather cheerful when around people they think of as a friend. They enjoy showing off, often using their acrobatic prowess and electrical abilities to try to entertain their friends. They are also extremely loyal to their friends as well. They have a tendency to take responsibility for the well being of those they've befriended and will often try to help when their friends are troubled and frequently check up on their friends when they don't see them often enough. For this reason, despite living a mostly solitary life, Zins often have the weaker mamono in the area as their loyal friends and followers. Needless to say, the easiest way for an enraged Zin to come charging out to end your life is to threaten her friends.
In battle Zins are force to be reckoned with. They deal out crushing blows with their claws, use their entire bodies to deal out earth shaking slam attacks, while at the same time acrobaticly bounding and flipping out of the way of attacks or flipping around to deal out blows with their tail. They supplement this with frequently shooting lightening balls and summoninv lightening down from the sky. They frequently pause to howl. When they do this they draw in electrical energy from their surroundings to charge themselves up however this takes concentration and they can't move while they do this, giving their opponent time to recover or go on the offensive. However, if their opponent doesn't stop them they will increase their charge each time, increasing their own speed and power as well as adding an electrical charge to their physical attacks and increasing the amount of lightening they can summon and lightening balls they can shoot. Eventually they reach their Supercharged state which causes their speed and power to become overwhelming and their attacks become a relentless storm of claws and lightening. If hurt badly enough they can can be knocked out of their Supercharged state but their foes are often crushed long before that point. It should also be known that being hit with electrical attacks will not harm her but instead increase her level of charge.
Zins are often honest with their feelings. When one finds a man she likes she will often just come out declare her love and her intentions to mate with him. If he refuses she will not immediately rape him, instead she will attempt to be friends with as she has done with others and work extra hard to help and protect him. At the same time she will attempt to subtly seduce him. Often she "accidentally" will display her body to him and flirt with him. If he continues to refuse her she will eventually reach her wits end and she will force him to the ground and rape him. When does except her however she will be overjoyed and quickly take hims someplace safe and private to initiate intercourse. It should be noted that if a man were to befriend a Zin before she take romantic interest in him, he is often putting himself on the fast track to becoming her husband.
A married Zin is extremely loyal and devoted to her husband, she will always seek to help him with his problems and protect him from danger. While Zins are rarely the most domestically inclined they are willing and eager to use their talents to use in supporting her husband in achieving his goals, helping him through his problems, and defending him from whatever the world throws at them. Because of this they are well valued by the Dragoons as a strong and reliable ground mount. Anyone married to a Zin however should be cautious. The Zin will still be loyal to her old mamono friends and will often attempt to get the unmarried ones wed to her husband. To the Zin this is a way to make sure that all of her friends and her husband are all happy and cared for so if man isn't careful he could easily end up with a harem instead of just his Zin.
Admit it, you like Stygian cleavage.
There is one known Subspecies of Zin, known as the Stygian Zin. These Zins have black scales and armor, white hair and pseudo-fur, and their markings glow red instead of blue. Stygian Zins are notably less cheerful than their normal cousins and have a more stoic and brooding demeneor often seeming to be very lonely. They have a notably higher resistance to extreme temperatures allowing them to make their homes in the more secluded volcanic and icey regions of the Reptile Kingdom. They are much stronger than a normal Zin and the lightening that Stygian Zins shoot is black and crimson and is infused with an emergy called Dragons Blight that only a small number of mamono and beasts can use. The Dragons Blight works essentially as anti-magic and clings to its victims, causing weapons and armor to lose their enchantments and blocking spellcasters from their magic for as long as the energy is infused in them. Stygian Zins are also more skilled in battle than even there cousins, stringing out long and punishing combos on their foes. When charging up Stygian Zins cause bursts of Dragons Blight to form around them to make harder to appoach and interrupt the charging process and they are even capable of moving while charging albeit slowly. Because of their hellish appearance they sometimes referred to as Lightening Hellhound Dragons.
There is also a rare mutation that can occur in both types of Zins that causes a deviant individual called a Thunderqueen. The scales of a Thunderqueen are tinged a golden green color and one horn grows abnormally large. Thunderqueens are always in their Supercharged state and use a green tinged lightening. However they can charge up even further, beyond what other Zins are capable of. At this Hypercharged state their lightening turns a golden color. Thunderqueens are known for being as strong as any dragon and capable of discharging immense amounts of electricity. A Stygian Thunderqueen remains the same color of a normal Stygian Zin but still has the enlarged horn. Stygian Thunderqueens still use the crimson and black, Dragon Lightening even in their Hypercharged state but with far greater skill and power.
[And here we have the next MH mamono, the Zin, based off of the Zinogre. I don't have much to say here. The term Thunder Wolf Drake kinda speeks for itself. Badassed. Anywho, expect lots of electricity puns coming from me this time around. Information on the Reptile Kingdom and links to the other Reptile Kingdom mamono can be found here: (http://monstergirlencyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:The_Reptile_King/The_Reptile_Kingdom) You can also make suggestions there if you want, just follow the rules on that.
As per my norm, feedback and criticism is welcome and encouraged, so long as your criticisim is more than mindlessly insulting me, I want something useful out of it. So tell me what you think of her]
