Family: Shark
Habitat: Ocean floor
Disposition: Quiet, poor at expressing emotions, ferocious
Diet: seafood, meat.
One of the species that can be found in the tropics, Like the Angsrk they are camoflouging burrowers. Their bodeis are colored to match the bottom of a coral reef: with spots and stripes on the appropriate places. They can change the color of their skin if they must, enabling them to hide in a variety of places. They also posess potrusions on their cheeks: not unlike a cat-species whiskers. they use them to help detect prey when burrowed. Also worthy of note: their dorsal fin is considered usless given how they hide, so over time their back fins have become almost indistinguishable from normal, leading many people to mistake them for a mermaid...at least until they get a good look at a Wobbegong, at least..
They are not an emotive species: Almost never letting their faces or voices show any emotion, often, the only way someone can ever get an idea as to what they're thinking is by looking at their whiskers or their eyes. Despite their seemingly uncaring demanor: they are suprisignly emotional, and actually have an easier time bonding with others than most manamo. Conversly: If someone were to threaten anyone they'd consider a friend, they'd attack the person or creature with such feirceness that it almost seems to be a trait leftover from before the Demon Lord. While they do not normally kill any assailants: they will often leave them vunerable to manamo or predators in karma, making them suprigingly feared among tropical islands people: often referring to them as the "Coral devil".
Due to the trpical nature of the waters they inhabit: they can be found swimming around quite a bit(They are ectothermic after all) Without the need to warm themselves up. Occasionally all of their moving will eventually bring them near people, who(Despite their demanor) will welcome her and treat her like royalty. This almost worship-like behavior is usually done out of fear however: and as soon as she leaves the people who were moments ago doting on her will act as if she was a plauge. Thw Wobbegong is aware of this: and will often go to sulk on her own. However: due to her instinct as a manamo, she will feel compelled to search for a man during these times, and will look for one. Should they find one they will often gaze at him from afar, a sparkle in their eyes are they gaze at him. While most men are typically afraid of them at first, overtime they will lose their fear and head over and talk to the Wobbegong, who is usually estatic(On the inside) about having someone who treats her like a normal girl. She will then state that she fell in love with him at first sight and will attack, immidiatly initating coitus.
When mating a Wobbegong is not particularly different than any other shark-girl, but do be wary: should their mate/lover stroke their whiskers it is as if a switch is hit in their minds: and they will ravage the man until they've squezzed out every drop of his semen into her. Afterwards their personalities return to normal and they are typically very apologetic, Often bowing their head in shame. After this they will then ask the man to claim responsibillity for what the two of them have done together, asking him to be their husband.
After the two are married the Wobegong will become very loving and devoted towards her husband, and will alwasy try to follow his wishes if she can. Curiosly: They seem to have a fierce rivalry with the Angsrk, often being considered counterparts. What with them both being camoflauging hiders and the Angsrks..."erratic" nature compared to the Wobbegongs cool and calm personality, both are preety much foils for each other. Obviously: the two species don't get along, and should someone have one of each in a harem, Life will be.."interesting" to say the least.
(Alright, this was possibly my most revised one yet, this one was difficult to write, you guys don't wanna know....Still, in anycase, if you like this one then feel free to leave any thoughts or worthwhile critisism down below, Thanks!)
