The Mizu is a species of drake commonly found in damp forests and jungles. They are particularly fond of Zinpanguinese culture and tend to live in the Misty Peaks and in and around Yukumo. They are easily identifiable by the white scales and purple pseudo-fur on their bodies. They are adorned with yellow fins that give the impression of flower petals and their ears also grow out into similar fins giving them the appearance of fox ears. They have a long tail with a large puffs of pseudo-fur on the bottom giving it the appearance of a foxes tail. When angered their fins will flush an angry red color, when tired they will fade into a dull blue color and when filled with lust the fins become a soft pink color. Due to their overall elegent and fox like appearance they are often called the Inari of the Reptile Kingdom. Like all dragons, they can return to their primal form as they were before monsterization.
Mizus are generally a calm and gentle mamono. Unlike many of the denizens of the Reptile Kingdom, they prefer to avoid combat and would never force themselves on a man. However that isn't to say that a Mizu is entirely harmless either. They are known to mischievous creatures with a fox like wit. They often love to pull tricks and pranks on unsuspecting travelers who enter their territory and have a fondness for out witting people.
They have the ability to produce large amounts a soapy fluid that foams and bubbles a ridiculous amount and is extremely slippery. They often put patches of this Bubblefoam in people's path to trick them into slipping and fallying or use it to form huge mounds of bubbles that may block peoples view of important things, such as road signs or use it to cover the ground in a large area, that way a person cannot see a pond or swamp through all of the bubbles and falls in. Despite their actions, they are never truly cruel to a person, often those who end up lost in the woods because of them end up being led to safety by the very pranks that torment them and these pranks rarely result in serious injury.
While Mizus prefer to avoid combat, they are far from being weaklings. They will often use their Bubblefoam to shoot bubbles from their tails out blow bubbles at their foe. Normally this would sound harmless however getting hit by one of these bubbles is akin to getting smashed by a wrecking ball and is doubly dangerous as it will cover the foe in Bubblefoam, which will cause him to lose nearly all traction and seriously hamper his movement. If all else fails, the Mizu is also capable of shooting a high pressure stream of water that easily cut through stone and metal. Mizus are also nimble and willy opponents who move about easily, using their own Bubblefoam to easily slide in and out to strike an opponent and escape counter attack, often moving in ways reminiscent of a dance. They also frequently practice magic, which they often combine with their bubbles creating all sorts of tricks to play on their opponents, from using the bubbles to form illusions to trapping their foe in a bubble. All too often those who have picked a fight with a Mizu only end up getting soaking wet, frustrated and humiliated for their troubles.
Mizus almost never rape a man, however they will frequently dress in a provocative manner, often using their large tails to conceal their features in order to tease others. Despite this, they usually have an aura of purity about them, almost akin to a Unicorn. They never permit a man aside from her husband to touch her. Though many may try, all they will do when trying to hold her is fall on their faces from slipping on the bubbles and all they will ever succeed in groping or kissing is a mass of foam. However, when a Mizu finds a man she likes she will immediately start trying to seduce him, often dancing around him while whispering honeyed words into his ear and touching him as she never allows other men to touch her. Should the man return her affection she will be overjoyed and immediately commence mating with her new husband, if he does not, then she will step up her game, often using bubbles full of charm magic or doing the man favors in order to win his affection. Eventually if the man continuously refuses her she will probably give up on him, however, they will only take so many refusals before their lust and frustration overwhelms them and they rape a man who had refused them. Mizus often use their pranks and tricks as a way to determine whether or not they wish to marry a man. The more a man puts up with her antics or engages in her antics, the more likely she will attempt to court him. Should a man stay light hearted after having been tricked and be willing to laugh at himself he will catch her eye, should prank her back he will gain her interest, if a man were to engage in a prank war with her or join in pranking others than it only a matter of time before she begins trying to court him.
After finding a man, Mizu becomes extremely lustful. All the time before, when she had never allowed a man to touch her, caused her lust build and build and now that she has a husband of her own, all of that lust is unleashed upon him. When culminating her new marriage she will often immerse herself and her husband in bubbles and build walls of foam to block off everything but their husband. Usually she will use her magic to boost his stamina and help him recover so that they can go again and again, throughly staining her body and soul with his spirit energy, often only stopping when the sex and magic has left her too exhausted to remain awake. Even afterwards she will always being ready and willing to shower her husband in her love for hours on end.
Even when not having sex a married Mizu is very affectionate to her husband, frequently hugging him, wrapping her tail around him and rubbing herself against him. Inversely to how she treats other men, a Mizu would never refuse her husbands touch allowing him to grope and fondle her regardless of the situation, should he wish he could do it broad daylight in front of everyone and she will have no complaints, in fact to a Mizu this is a mark of pride, that not only do they have a husband and that they are so irresistible to him that he can't keep his hands off of her even in public. After marriage, Mizus do settle down a bit though. They are extremely devoted to their husband. Often spending their time taking care of him and making him happy instead of playing tricks on people. The bubbles once used to make others look like fools will instead be used to keep their home spotless and instead dancing around angry victims of their pranks they will dance around their home and husband as they keep themselves busy with him. Though only a fool would believe that a married Mizu is safe to be around, they may stay busy for their husbands but that doesn't mean that they can't find time to pull a good prank.
A man married to a Mizu will gain a few benefits, most notably being that he will find himself able to move through her Bubblefoam as easily as she does. Despite being able to slide on it he will find that he never fully loses traction and can glide around on with ease. Also, while most Mizus prefer to avoid fighting, they are all more than willing to support her husband if he is a fighter, often using her bubbles to send spells that will heal him and boost his strength while simultaneously using her foam to trip up the opponent or create illusions to befuddle their foe.
Deviant Type: Heavenly Eye Mizu
Chibi Heavenly Eye Mizu is angry.
A rare mutation can occur in Mizus causing what is called a Heavenly Eye Mizu to be born. These Mizus are easily identifiable due to their pseudo fur being pure white and their claws being noticeably longer and sharper. Due to complications in their birth, Heavenly Eye Mizus are alway left completely blind. This however does little to slow them down, not only does their blindness cause their sense of smell and hearing to become far more developed than a normal Mizus, but they also have gained an ability to sense any object that comes in contact with their bubbles. Because of this unique sensory ability, Heavenly Eye Mizu tend to keep thousands of small and nearly unnoticeable bubbles around their person so that they can be maintain full awareness of their surroundings. Despite their inability to see in a conventional sense, Heavenly Eye Mizus are notably stronger, faster, and tougher than a normal Mizu. In adition to this Heavenly Eye Mizus can create fox fire, much akin to the Inari and Youko of Zinpangu. Like Inari and Youko, Heavenly Eye Mizus can utilize this fox fire to perform various magic spells, most notably being their illusions, which are far more potent than that of a normal Mizus. Heavenly Eye Mizus are also known to use their Fox Fire in a much more direct manner, namely to burn their foes alive and they are infact known to merge their bubbles with their fox fire to create explosive projectiles. Mizus also produce a red powder which has the effect of bolstering the offensive prowess of those exposed to it, in battle Mizus will frequently use this powder on themselves turning their pseudo fur a redish pink color and when angered their eyes will glow a distinct blue color with one eye generating a stream of pale blue fox fire out of it, thus giving them their name. It is rumored that Heavenly Eye Mizus are in fact, not blind, but instead see the spiritual world instead of the physical and that they can look into a persons soul and see the true contents of their character. This is unconfirmed and is more than likely a myth, however they do tend to be phenomenal judges of character. Finally, like the Inari and Youko in Zinpangu, Heavenly Eye Mizus have the ability to creat Kitsune-bi. These Kitsune-bi, or Mizu-bi as they are commonly reffered to, are unique to normal Kitsune-bi in that they often form flower petal like fins, denoting their origins and they tend to develop more prideful and possessive personalities akin to a dragon. In terms of behavior Heavenly Eye Mizus tend to be more calm and cautious than normal than normal Mizus, likely due to their blindness. They appear to need more sleep and have a tendency to take naps throughout the day. Despite their difference in behavior, they are much alike to their normal siblings, Heavenly Eye Mizus are also incurable pranksters. In fact their skills tend to be even greater in not only causing mischief, but also in avoiding retaliation and they have a tendency to cause an "opponents" pranks back fire on them, likely due to being blind and growing up in a family of pranksters. Most frightening is that they can often perform their mischief without leaving any evidence to link themselves to the act, often using their blindness as a means of "proving" their innocence.
[And to those who cared, the Mizutsune won the vote for the first MH:Generations Flagship monster to get a mamono. Next will be the Astalos and finally the Glavenus. Now the Mizu was actually pretty easy to come up with the trickster fox thing played a large role in her. The bubbles of course are the primary weapon of the Mizutsune, which initially sounds harmless but that what makes it all the more devious. The purity bit comes from the fact that Mizutsune armor in the game is designed to look like Japanese wedding clothes. Information on the Reptile Kingdom and links to the other Reptile Kingdom mamono can be found here: (http://monstergirlencyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:The_Reptile_King/The_Reptile_Kingdom) You can also make suggestions there if you want, just follow the rules on that.
As per my norm, feedback and criticism is welcome and encouraged, so long as your criticisim is more than mindlessly insulting me, I want something useful out of it. So tell me what you think of her]
