Family: Shark
Habitat: Shallow oceans, human settlements.
Dispositon: Warm, cheerful, devoted. OR: Violent, arrogont, bold
Diet: Omnivourus, same as humans
Nearly univerally known worldwide: Sharbolds are quite dimunitive, only slightly bigger than a Cookiecutter, appearing like a young girl. Physcially speaking aside from their size they have 2...extensions on their head that appear like dog ears, earning them their name. Also thire skin from their shark half also covers nearly their entire body, the skin however juts out and goes down in folds, making it appear as if the Sharbold's actually have.."Fur" on their bodies. The reasons for these are primarily unknown, but they are often considered an adaptation from when their species first came into existance.Sharbolds are extremley adaptable: and can easily elvolve themselves through a single generation to survive their enviornment. This leads to potentioally thousnds of subspecies, but they are typically classified under the two main categories: Domestic and Feral.
The Domestic variant is basically the equivilant of a Holstaur from a Minotaur: as in over generations they have mellowed out and have become domesticated: becoming completley tame. and are almost pets by this point. So thourough has their domestication been is that they can only be obtained through specific breeding facillities or from a married Sharbold's children, tis variant literraly can't be found in the wild unless they were illegally released. Due to their species nautural adaptatibillity they can easily accomadate many envornments, and as such if you have a tank big enough to hold them with their water then that'll be more than adecuate to house one. ...
Domestics are quite amicable: and usually very friendly towards others, even if someone were to harm them they will almost always frogive them. This almost naive nature is especcially apparant with their owner(Especcially if their owner is a man) if their owner is male, they will constantly dote on him, and it is as if the two are already married, but to the Domestics, concepts like "marrige" and "Wife" are pointless: to them: their is only their owner and how they can ably serve him..Even should he not desire him they will not attempt to pursue him, simply being happy as his "pet".Oddly though, despite not activly attempting to seduce him they always seem to get their master in the mood....it is a odd phenomenah that the Sharbolds themselves are confused about.
Conversly: the Feral variant: are Sharbolds that haven't been domesticated and still live in the wild oceans. These girls are wild and brutish, and are very tempermental, often attacking the first thing that they deem an annoyance. Notably: these girls posses a spine near the back end of their dorsal fin, making it an added defence While they are still Sharbolds and their weaponry is not particulrly effective, compared to their Domesticated relatives their bites do hurt(although their bite usually feels more like a nibble than anything else.) Also: since they often come into contact with larger Shark-girls, they tend to have an inferiority complex over size, leading them to lash out and be even more violent than normal.
When an Untamed spots a man in the oceans, no matter where, They immidiatly rush at him(They do this in case a different Shark girls has spotted him and they also want him) and try to mate with him. and whien the Untamed Sharbolds mate, they oddly seem downright bashful during the act, squimish over the face that a man is seeing their small bodies. They usually get over this anxiety however: and their sex-life is often no different from that of any small-shark girl. After the mating the Feral Sharbold usually stays near her new man, and will always stay by him as if too warn other manamo to stay away. Usually though his is innefectual and will not deter any interested manamo.
Oddly, if the two varients meet it is as if a chemical reaction takes place: the two will immidiatly dislike eachother and try too change one variant into another through adaptation, the results from these.."fights" aree dubious at best, though their husbands often get a laugh from these spats.
(Alright...here's the last natural Sharkgirl! I will admit this was possibly the hardest to do because I couldn't think of a niche, so I tried the best I could...though this probably isn't my best work....If you guys like her then feel free to leave your thoughts below.)
