During the battles against the previous Demon Lord, like the Cursed Swords employed by those Demon Lords, the warriors of Heaven and the Angels fighting against them employed relics called Blessed Swords. Weapons made specifically to destroy monsters. As the battles continued, these swords were eventually lost to the ages. Recently, more of them were discovered but had been found changed just like their demonic counterparts in this new age.
Blessed Swords look like ordinary swords, perhaps made of precious metals such as silver rather than iron like ordinary swords. When someone picks one up, they become imbued with its holy power, slowly covering them in holy armor and their mind ingrained with the virtue the conciousness in the swords holds dear.
The progression of the Blessed Sword is quite similar to the Cursed Sword. Rather than attack indiscriminately for pleasure, the users of a Blessed Sword will pursue a path of justice and strike at monsters or humans heavily imbued with demonic power. Like Demon World Silver, the Blessed Sword strikes at the spirit rather than the body. The people struck will 'bleed' mana, allowing the sword to infuse their bodies with its own power. This energy, in opposition to the demonic energy which amplifies lust and debauchery, amplifies love and affection. Victims, if you can call them that, of these swords will begin agressively pursuing the people he love, unable to ignore their feelings anymore.
In the days of the previous Demon Lords, this process would allow the people touched by these swords to save people being corrupted by evil. In this modern age, this effect actually assists monsterization as people become unafraid to express their love of someone else who may or may not be a monster. Monsters struck with these swords become much more affectionate, although they do not become any less aggressive in thei rpursuit of men, instead focusing for the one who would be their husband. For example, a Hellhound which was struck by a Blessed Sword became sweetly affectionate to the man she decided would be her husband, dropping her domination tendancies for a time.
These actions will give the Blessed Sword a sense of physical pleasure, although it will bow a slow-burning pleasure which feels more like a happy glow instead of outright orgasmic, it will still give the sword a taste of something it had not known before. This will be the turning point in the new mamono's life.
As the swords push their hosts onto a path of righteousness against what is percieved as the forces of evil, they will begin to yearn for the kind of love they see everyone else being able to experience. Eventually, they begin a quest to find that perfect man who would become their wielder and make every day on their quests worthwhile. Discovering that man, they will try to convince him to become their 'wielder' or husband. If they are accepted, they will quickly discover sex and weep in joy at what they had been missing before. They will adore their new husbands and protect them fiercely from their enemies. However, like the Cursed Swords, if a Blessed Sword is neglected for a while, they will begin to go on the attack against monsters, thinking they are doing something to make her husband ignore her.
Blessed Swords are like their counterparts, rare. However, many are believed to be in the care of The Order who hoard them zealoussly for the right time, fearing that taking them out in the world will corrupt them like the ones popping up have been in their minds. With the rise of King Arthurias, many such mamono have been finding their way to these kingly monsters, swearing their loyalty. Likely the most powerful seen yet is the one who named herself Excalibur, always at the side of the first King Arthuria who shares her bed with her husband.
Blessed Swords, although corruptable and can become Cursed Swords, cannot become such by just entering Demon Realms (although the Royal Demon Realm may be the exception.) The true corruption can only be done if the host either strikes a human with no demonic energy in them and breaking their pure nature, or is part of a harem with multiple monster girls, constantly infusing her with demonic energy as she is emptying her own power into her husband.
