Family/Type: Succubus/Elf
Habitat: Sherwood Forest/Camelot
Disposition: Generous, friendly, lustful
Diet: Essence of human men
Inside the Sherwood Forest in the realm of Camelot, usually the first forest that the average traveller will pass through, there is a gathering of elves who are different from the norm. Unlike standard elves who disdain humans and avoid them, or Dark Elves who embrace their own kinds of love, the Robyn Hoods embrace love with humans, but of the romantic style be it casual or loving, whichever they find.
The Robyn Hood look much like standard elves. They have long pointed ears and long hair, often wearing lots of green. However, they usually wear leathers and similar materials humans would, rather than the homespun silks and animal friendly outfits their elf counterparts would wear. Of course, they are supernaturally beautiful like any proper elf would be. More often than not, these mamono will be wielding a bow with a number of arrows.
The name of these mamono comes from the one who inspired their separation from elves. They began as a group who wished to embrace bonds with humans and teach them to be better than they were. Generosity, loyalty, comradery, and kindess were lesssons the leader of this movement, named Robyn Hood, espoused as she and a following of elves left their homes to find a new home for themselves and their beliefs. After the new Demon Lord took her throne, this separation from the Elves and Dark Elves triggered a transformation into a new kind of mamono, taking the name of their respected leader.
The Robyn Hood eventually ended up in Sherwood Forest inside the realm of Camelot and there they remain, quite happy. The Robyn Hood are quite friendly and are quite happy, sometimes eager, to share the bounties of nature with people they come across. To them, sex is a wonderful way to form strong bonds with people. For every person they lead with, it forms a bond of friendship which is quite hard to break. If someone who holds that bond needs help, the Robyn Hood will be ready and willing to help them in their time of need.
Despite all of their friendliness though, the Robyn Hood are not naive nor are they pushovers. They have a strong sense of justice and will not tolerate the idea that injustice is going on anywhere near them. Bands of Robyn Hood have been known to become the bane of travelling bandits as well as corrupt officials who abuse their authroity. A noted band calling themselves the Merry Women made life miserable for a number of Order officials who had taken to heavily taxing the common people while pocketing the excess under the table. The Merry Women made constant raids on that official's holdings and men, taking every bit of gold and tradable good and spreading it among the impoverished people who needed it. So despite The Order's attempts to cover up the wrongdoing and make the mamono appear to be common thieves, the common folk of a number of areas even strictly held by The Order think of the Robyn Hood in friendly terms.
How Robyn Hood find men is rather involved. When a traveller passes through their territory, a Robyn Hood will step out into the path and waylay them. They will then invite that man to their camps where he will be warmly welcomed and take a prime seat by the fire as the Robyn Hoods and other men they've invited have a merry time with drink and food. Eventually though, the Robyn Hood will ask her guest some questions about why he travels and where he intends to go. If the traveller replies with answers showing evil intent, he will quickly find himself stripped of his belongings, tied up, and sat on his horse backwards before being sent to the nearest town in humilation. If his intentions are good, the Robyn Hood will begin a seduction, eventually leading to outright sex at the fireside along with her friends. After, if the man does not find himself the husband of that Robyn Hood, he will be sent on his way with a kiss on his cheek, his travel supplies refilled, and an invitation to return any time he wishes. Many men find themselves enjoying the friendship and comradery of these mamono and do find reasons to return.
If a Robyn Hood finds a husband, she will have him join up with their band and teach him the large number of skills these mamono use in the forest. These men find themselves in a very open and friendly community. Everyone is close to each other and everyone shares the resources of the camp. A Robyn Hood
