Some characters in Oz never get the chance to be featured in the limelight. There are just so many that I couldn't list them all down. One of them, the Field Mice, are the ones responsible for saving the Cowardly Lion in the field of Deadly Poppies, but the classic movie featured Glinda being that savior instead. NOPE! Here, the forgotten vermin get their Mamono versh..
FIELD MOUSE
Family/Type: Mouse Family/Beastman
Habitat: Near the Deadly Poppie Fields of Emerald City, Ozian farmlands, caverns
Disposition: Simple, devoted
Diet: Herbivorous; mostly fruits, nuts, grain, etc.
----------------------------------
A race of rodent-men in Oz. Unlike their relatives the scavenging Large Mice and the sleeping Dormice, they live in complex colonies by the reputed Deadly Poppy Fields of Oz, ruled over by a benevolent Mouse Queen and rarely thinking about sex. They accomplish tasks such as collecting food, expanding their underground homes, and solving woes of Ozians they encounter together, a reason why they have garnered respect amongst all its denizens.
Field Mice have short, earth-colored hair and curled ears on their heads, able to hear sounds of over a mile away. Brown fur covers an expanse of their arm to their palms, a great array on their chest leaving their semi-flat bust and belly-button bare, and a part of their legs towards the feet. Whiplike tails grow atop their rump for balance. Their front teeth are knobby, but adept in chiseling plant material. A distinct trait of theirs is that they have zero shame - they wear clothing barely enough to close their private area. This is common to all Field Mice, except the Mouse Queen.
Every generation, a Mouse Queen is born among the lot of these Beastman Mamono, easily identified by a pair of enormous ears comparable to an elephant's and a V-like end to their singular tails. The colony dresses the future ruler in fanciful rags, and once the current one abdicates, she willingly passes the title over to the next in line, while she and the other former royals become her advisers. All Mouse Queens have adherent knowledge of how the Field Mice should do about their daily lives. Upon her orders, all Field Mice obey without question, and all do her bidding as it is 'for the good of Mouse-kind'.
The Field Mice build underground homes connecting from Ozian meadows to deep beneath the roots of the Deadly Poppies guarding Oz. To the wary, it may seem dangerous to even live close to the highly sadistic Mamono, but the Mice and the Poppies have a symbiotic relationship. The Mice harvest edible seeds and nectar from the Poppies ( sucking it from their ample breasts and buds) and in turn, the Poppies shower them in antidotal DE, giving them effective immunity to the Poppy venom.
Field Mice are inherently duty-bound. Once they have a task in mind, they are obliged to follow it to the very end, and if it comes to scat, make up for it in any way they can (even through sex). They are also all ears on the problems of fellow Ozians. If they are able to help, even the Mouse Queen will be more than willing to assist their countrymen, may it be for the wrong or right reasons. Field Mice by the hundreds appear in an instant before the needy, ready to answer to his/her plea.
There are times that amidst their work, Field Mice detect the presence of a hapless Mamono or human falling victim to the Poppy's venom, cursed to eternal sleep and rape by the Alraunes. Instead of turning a blind eye to this as a part of their agreement, the Field Mice will jump in with willing comrades, seize the victimized individual and rush him/her past the fields before the Poppies could get their vines around them. As the victims flutter back to consciousness, the Field Mice will advise them to beware of the fields and return to their chores.
(Field Mice actually provide this as a form of service - a guaranteed safe travel to the Deadly Poppy Fields to Emerald City, known as 'Poppy Passage'. It is well appreciated for them if they are given nuts or fruits afterwards, or mana, to which they will non-hesitantly recieve with their mouths as 'milk').
Normally, if it were a female being, they can thoroughly reject offers, but if a human male insists on doing something in return to the favor he was given, this triggers an unknown feeling in the Mamono - lust. Reasons are, they always do favors without asking for things in payment, and by hearing this do they realize they are free to desire anything in reach. They would request, almost immediately, the act of copulation. DE, spawned from their ignorance of lasciviousness, is emitted by their clumped fur. Upon inhalation, it exhilarates the individual's libido and he will eye the Field Mice with the ferocity of a predator. Pinning her down, he will ravish her on the spot, her sexuality stained on the green meadows while her bestial urges are awakened. She will forcibly dig her vagina to his member, tasting every bit of semen he will ejaculate inside as he takes the lead. She will insist he shoot his cum nowhere but inside her, desiring his 'seed'.
After the sexual encounter, the man is introduced to Field Mice colony, where he is recieved warmly and blessed by the Queen. He will earn their trust, being the person able to capture the heart of their sister. Given a place in the underground tunnels, he is free to spend his days with his Mamono wife. A hard-at-work Field Mouse will waste no time in going to her husband, who by sniffing at her sweaty body effeminating DE, will sense arousal as she approaches him. He will grope and fondle her body, licking her weakspot (their erogeneous zones) as a sign of wanting sex.
A man is subsequently allowed to bring other Mamonos if he wishes to make a harem, granted he continue to give attention over the Field Mouse as his original wife. She will rub on to the other wives because of her continued devotion to the colony even after marriage. They will follow on her lead as she guides them in doing housework, and afterwards, work as head of a pack as they fawn over their husband.
It is rare for Mouse Queens to fall in love. Usually, this happens if the above incident is witnessed by the Queen in place of any Field Mice, and Queens seldom leave the colony unless they are required to. In that aspect, she will dote on her husband while fulfilling her royal role, that even as she rides on top of his towering pole in sex she will not neglect her command over her subjects. The younger children of the colony take from her example, observing how she exacts intercourse, keeping this in mind for the future.
Believe it or not, but Lionesses respect Field Mice. Tin Woodsmen are also their dearest friends, due to an incident in the past when a Queen was saved by one. To this day, it is unsure if they are allied with anyone, much less the Circe of Oz, Oz's former ruler and tyrant. A precious treasure in the form of a whistle is still lost somewhere, and upon its use, the entire colony of Field Mice are at the person's disposal.

NOTE: Now this is a Mamono I didn't rack my brain into giving distinction! Far from the sleeping perversity of a Dormouse and the slippery tactics of a Large Mouse, the Field Mouse is an odd combo of a housebody and a sheltered girl, ignorant of sex. Better for you men to teach her a thing or two! NEXT!
