In my research over the inhabitants of Oz, the Choggenmugger was a fun Mamono to visualize. Pretty soon, I wondered if anyone could ever match their ferocity. Turns out, there's just one with a similar reason of existence - wiping out life before being converted into a Mamono. Meet this fantastical addition...
QUIBERON A Quiberon inviting you in the water. Ain't that swell? Credits and props to the man, myth and legend, Lionrunner. XD
Family/Type: Sea Serpent /Reptile Type
Habitat: Lake Orizon of the Ozure Isles (they are an endemic species)
Disposition: Aggressive, meek, lustful
Diet: Carnivorous; will subsist on eating schools of fish, even whales and sharks
-----------------------------------
A powerful hybrid race terrorizing the inhabitants of Lake Orizon of Oz. Typically a cross between a water Lamia, an Unagi-Joro and a Dragon, they have the strong will, lasciviousness and ferocity of these species. They are incredibly lustful, and because of the lack of competition in their own home, they channel all their battle-hunger into sexual desire.
The Quiberon possesses red horns and scutes equivalent to that of a Dragon, silvery locks of hair growing past them and flowing down their smoothened faces. A pair of crimson tusks are on the sides of their cheekbones. Scales running down their necks and to their upper extremities have colorful, winding patterns reminiscent of Lamias. Their slitted eyes glow in the dark, which is especially handy as they traverse greater depths underwater. For the remainder of their anatomy, they have an eel's length of a body further down, lined with fins on each side and tapered with a glittering whale-tail to attract prey.
Although a completely aquatic resident, the insides of the Quiberon are hot in sulfuric air. They breathe fire from their nostrils to burn any obstruction along the way. To cloak their entry in an area, they fume sulfurous haze from holes on their tusks and horns, blocking vision and inflamming the insides of those who mistakenly take this in. Quiberons are never into speaking, so to communicate they freely control their release of the haze to generate unique smoke signals in the air.
In Ozian history, the Quiberon is a single being placed out of spite by the Wiccen Mombi Horribibble, after Ozure Isles declined to help her in a time of crisis. As soon as the Quiberon entered the lake (a pure monster before the Maou came to power), it devoured the Hippocampi and overturned boats. It razed the fishing villages and drove back the plentiful fish for the fishing capital, Sapphire City. 20 years later, seeing as the creature was getting way out of hand, the first King of Oz (known only as 'Oz'), ventured after it, accompanied by the Whiz, a powerful entity of a mage existent in Oz since time immemorial. They succeeded in paralyzing it and reducing it into a pitiful statue. When the inquisitive Whiz cracked this statue open, out popped the Quiberon as a new Mamono. She decided to keep the original, and produced several copies into the lake that proliferated into a new breed of terror.
The Quiberon is a rambunctious Mamono, incapable of restraining its emotions in wreaking havoc. This is kept in check: they can't harm the towns or cities under the protection of the Whiz, nor harrass the denizens of the lake they have tormented in the past. It was said this was part of their agreement for releasing the Quiberon from her petrified state. Their unscaled power made them a subject of fear not just to the repopulated Hippocampi, but to Mermaids, Aybee Searpents and other water-dwellers of Oz. Left with no one to challenge but their own kind, their seething aggression is reverted to the instinct they can't shy away from as a Mamono - lust. A craving for sex pervades on the tips of their horns, the ends of their tail, and the very reaches of their fins.
When a Quiberon happens to spot a fishing vessel, they are able to tell if a man is aboard. It is explained men give off a bodily heat only they can react to. Once they fully confirm this, they crane their massive bodies above water and blast steams of constricting smoke into the air. As mentioned before, any one who inhales this DE-empowered smog finds his insides inflammed and eyesight subjected to intense irritation. Driven into a state of confusion that the Quiberon enjoys seeing on her prey, the man can only shut his eyes for what comes next.
The Quiberon then sets the vessel ablaze with its malefic flames, or wraps it in her coils to break it apart. With the people on board flung into the water, the inflammation they feel inside are replaced by the loss of heat. The unforgiving cold of Lake Orizon seeps into their skin as if to kill the sulfur within the person's system, and their bodies will seek a nearest sensation of warmth. To the ravenous Mamono, this is their cue to act. From the darkest corners of the lake, pods of Quiberons snake their way towards the fallen passengers and each wind their coils around their target, man or Mamono, to pleasure him or her into sexual intercourse. Kissing their victims passionately and violating them with smoldering sexuality, the fiery insides of the Quiberon will be what their freezing body desires, and they will not have the strength to resist. She will have them played by their palm of their hands, and in a secret cove, they will be dragged to perform obsecene positions while the Mamono leers at them with seductive eyes.
Continuous sex with a Quiberon bathes a human woman in viscous amounts of DE, transforming her into the same Mamono, her thoughts reduced to perversity alone. To a Mamono, she will be filled with pleasure, as if it were a man she had copulated with moments ago (she will find herself on the shores several hours later, arousal inside her at its peak and unable to resist bearing down on the first man she sees).
Towards men, the Quiberon will take them to their cove to make him her husband. Sadly, there will be no soft eyes, no gleeful exchange between husband and wife. The man is, to them, their tool of desire. His towering erection is their joy, and smothering it between their breasts, they inflame him in lust as they initiate wild, bestial sex, harmless steam filling the air around them. Day by day, sex will be what they bear in mind, and sex will be their sign of deepening love. He will be sated in so much sex, harems and other wives will pale to his single Quiberon wife in comparison.
Based on the amount and rapidity of the steam they blow, the Quiberon's husband can tell what their wives are feeling. Only he can understand what the smoke signals she emit mean, and it is a subject of research amongst Ozian researchers. However, this can never be fully achieved since Quiberons do not allow anyone, much more a female, to approach their husbands. They will snarl and bite to get that point across, then drag his sorry butt to Lake Orizon's depths to assault him as a method of 'payback' for making her act out of hand.
The largest Quiberon to exist is in the caretaking of the Whiz, extending up to 40 meters in length from end to end. The original, who is as insatiable as her children, longs to rebel against the Whiz and lord over Lake Orizon as its queen, but as she is her pet,she cannot disobey her 'master's will' even though the Quiberon recognizes no one as above them. It is long wondered how a Choggenmugger would last against a Quiberon given the two are mega-predators of Oz. One thing can be assured - the results would be hugely disastrous.

NOTE: I'll admit. Making a Mamono stand out from scratch is a thing I find challenging to do. The Quiberon has little praise to be lauded for, but with this Mamono versh of hers, she earns spotlight as the Cho's rival in the water. Just imagine - having those two as wives is a living heck. BE careful, minna! And sayanora!
