Alright, here's a red-phased one(Keep in mind this is not the normal phase of a Baller, but it is one of the many they can take) Not my art.
Type: Reptile
Habitat: Human settlements, jungles. plains(Reptile Kingdom)
Dispositon: Dopey, meek, klutzy, devoted
Diet: Meat/animal flesh
One of the many Lamian species that can be found throughout the world: Ballers appear physically similar to the main type, but with the distinction of their scaled-half haing black stripes running through their bodies: oddly reminecint of a Jinko. Another unique feature about them is that, compared to other Lamian species: their tails are noticably thicker and heavier, making movment for them very slow. Aside from the usual Lamian features: they have the odd abillity to curl up into their coils when threatened: forming an odd sort of "Ball" (Hence their name) that they hope will deter any attackers from hurting them. They also have what is apprantly the softest and squishiest faces among all Reptillian manamo, with any emotions they show appearing quite "Dere" to most.
Ballers are one of the few if not the only Lamian species that can be called "Domesticated": in that ever since their species has become known in the world: they have been taken all aorund the world, and are very common among the warm places among the world. This widespread expansion of their species fortunatly had a side affect though: with the colors of the Ballers becoming haighly different among localites: meaning that Ballers with all sorts of scale colors can be found across the world, with many specific types being widley valued for their beauty. Unfortunatly though; this has rendered them somewhat dependant on Humans for most of things, with their skills and personalities becoming the epitom of a pushover(See below). Another unfortunate side effect is that they're now highly rare in the wild, with one often having to go to the deepest wilds to find one that is not completley domesticized.
Ballers...are not intellegent manamo: with them often unable to do or solve simple problems(Although they're still smart enough to survive): People wil sometimes even refer to them as "The dumbasses of the Lamia's".. Making matters worse is the fact that they also seem to have an inherent clumsiness that almost embodies their movmensts: with them seemingly walking when they trip on seemingly nothing and fall over. Both of these traits are very visible when they try to hunt: in that they are almost always unable to catch anything(With them having no second chance in them persuing because of their slowness), and so they usually resort to ambushing prey; but even then: they almost never get any prey(Usually they capture somthing by luck: with a part of their tail accidently hitting and dazing their target). Even when they succesfully capture somthing; Ballers will sometimes release their catch: often claiming that it's "too adorable" to eat. Even after all of tis though: they seem proud of themselves: even though they've accomplished virturally nothing through this.
Possibly the only upside to all this is that when they definetly want to eat an animal: they can constrict at strengths far greater than most other Lamians(Their thick tails being the reason: stronger bones and muscles) Making it so that literally seconds after they wrap their coils around their prey that they die within seconds: apparantly painlessly as well. They usually feel bad about eating in this way though, and they usually get their meat through a butcher or somthing of that nature: prekilled.
With their aforementioned issues of the Domesitcization, they are completley dependant on humans for most things; with the food issue mentioned above, and all of their other..."oddities". Fortunatly though: they have very freindly and tractable personalites, making them well liked: particularly among children(Possibly due to their similar inteligence levels.) And so they are almost beloved by most people: with even the more out-there parts of the Order tolorating them. So close is their connection to humans is that like a Dog, they can almost instinctivly tell a person's mood and emotions, and they attempt to respond accordingly. This trait comes prominently into use when there's a male they happen to fancy that's nearby.
When the man they happen to fancy(The reasons why they love him will often depend on the individual Baller, though most reasons will have somthing to do with his personality) is nearby: they will attempt to woo him by showing their bodies off to him when they bask in the heat(Which they have to do anyway: as being from the trpoical reigons they need large ammounts of heat to survive), Should he ignore them they wil puff up their cheeks in annoyance and try to get him to be aware of her in other ways(Which will also usually fail due to their clumsiness). Eventually; out of genuine confusion she will then lumber up to their flame and try to get an answer out of him. No matter what he says though: the Baller will usually take it as either a declaration of love, or a invitation to mate(With any disagreements he has seen as attempted pillowtalk) And she will then grab him and get him into a ball with her. Then they commence mating.
When mating The baller will almost seem glued to her mate when both are enveloped in her coils, with her arms wrapped around his back as she happily lets him thrust into her, making her almost drunkingly pleasured. While they mate though the heat they make from all this gets trapped in the Ballers coils, making the envorment hotter and the Ballers more energetic, meaning that the more they mate, the more furiosly they'll go at it: literally wringing all the semen out of her mate as she gets even more energized. Eventually though they peak and climax: and once that point happens they lose all the momentum they built up beforehand, and their mate can easily take the reigns then. After this whole debacle the Baller will then ask the man to take responsibillity for her(While stilled coiled around him) and he will usually be unable to say no.
A married Baller's personality doesn't really change: they'll still be the lovable idiots everyone knows them as, but: they'll always try to be near their husband at all times, considering a moment without him a wasted one. They'll also start to try and help him with whatever he wants, from doing housework(The results of which usually being shoddy though.) to helping him with work, in which case she'll just have a smile on her face. While most Lamians typically are not fond of other men getting close to their husbands: Ballers are almost unique in that they don't really mind: as far as they're concerned: the more people that show love to him, the better. And so they almost encourage harems to be formed around him, with the one condition that he shows her as much love and affection as he did before.
Oddly: when winter reaches the area where a Baller happens to live: she will curiosly stop eating. The reason for this is unknown even to the Ballers, but they simply will not want to eat, and will even sometimes regurtitate food given to them. Fortunatly though: there are usually no issues as long as the ballers metabolism isn't to high, in which case, her husband will have to mate with her constantly in order to give her sufficiunt Spirit energy..
(Alright, the lovable dumbass is done!! While I literally thought this one up today, I juust found it odd that there were no real constricting Lamias(Outside the main species) that really mattered, so: i took it upon myself to make this one. I actuallly based this specseis on my own pet Ball Python, Cleo(Who will be featured in future rps) in how she always seemed a little slower on the mental side of things. If you like this one then feel free to put any thoughts or worthwhile criticisms down below. Thanks!!)
