Species: Raptor
Type: Transmorpher(Autob, formerly Deceptor)
Habitat: Wilds, places where combat occurs
Disposition: Honest, Ferocious, prideful
Diet: Men’s spirit energy, occasionally meat.
One of the many organic-style beastformers, Dinorobs appear as robotic Raptors, colored by varying shades with grey except for their faces: which are a deep, sapphire blue. For weaponry they possess a spinning sword as well as a rotating blade, as well as some ranged weapons with a small handgun plus the ability to shoot green lasers from their eyes to attack opponents, making them quite effective in most forms of combat. For alt-mode; they turn into very large, very inaccurate and disproportionate Velociraptors(There, there’s your explanation for why it’s different you picky paleontologists!)
While there are many Transmorphers who will occasionally defect from one side to another, Dinorob’s are perhaps unique in two ways: first: they were the only species to switch as a whole species, so all of their kind are now Autobs. Second; Unlike many other defectors, who usually switch for moral reasons or money, the original Dinorobs switched because they thought they’d get the chance to fight more Transmorphers as Autobs(Considering that most combat-oriented Transmorphers were Deceptors at the time.) Another possible reason might be is that Dinorobs are actually descendants from the Dynobots, particularly from the Slashers(Giving them their alt-mode), but most don’t really consider this noteworthy as the main Dynobots aren’t exactly perfect-Autobs either.
When one encounters a Dinorob, they will often immediately notice the sheer battle-lust they have, with every other sentence they utter being some sort of wistful wanting of combat, with most of the other words being a snarl of contempt to those they deem inferior, as Dinorob’s have a high belief in the more powerful being the most important. In fact; the only reason that they’ll usually let others command any squadron or forces they may be a part of is because those commanders are usually more powerful, and despite the Dinorob’s strength(And surprising smarts), they wouldn’t be able to take over.
Despite the earlier description though, Dinorob’s are quite far from being a typical fight-happy manamo(Like a Brawler for example): simply because they have a high value of honor, which they adhere to strictly. Because of this strict following: they will usually not attack anyone weaker than them (Unless provoked), and they will also attack anyone they deem “Without honor”(Like Thieves, liars, etc.) viciously until the one they attacked either gets apprehended or fights them off. It is possibly for this reason that they despise the Ratter Transmorphers, as they are possibly everything they despise packed into a manamoid species. Another thing worth noting is that while it was previously mentioned that Dinorobs will often attempt a coup against weaker leaders, they will also not do this if the one leading her and her fellows has shown to be an honorable commander(At least, until the commander shows themselves to be otherwise)
Occasionally, many Dinorob’s will encounter other soldiers from many different places, and when they do they will almost always challenge them to a sort of duel to see if they have something they can learn. While most of these duels are usually trivial and will normally stop until they feel they’ve learned all that they need to know, and that’s how it almost always is with manamo or human women. When they happen to face a human male however, the Dinorob takes the fight a little differently(Especially if he happens to be around as strong as her). For her: it’s a test to see if the man is worthy to fight aside, both physically and mentally, and she will try to fight him for as long as possible, taking details of his stance, how he attacks, that sort of thing, but most of all: she tests to see if he’s at least workable with her Code of Honor. Should the Dinorob wind up losing to him, she will enlist herself as a servant towards him, and follow him wherever he goes(Obviously, she will not take no as an answer no matter how many times he attempts to send her off), and eventually through whatever adventures and sappyness the two go through, they will eventually marry. Things won’t be easy for the Dinorob’s husband though: if he happens to do anything cowardly or shameless in front of his wife, she will not hesitate to “Correct” him on his lapse of judgement.
Conversely, if the man happens to lose against the Dinorob in their initial fight, she will usually take pity on him and basically take him under her wing so she can show him how to be a proper and great warrior. The same things mentioned before happen to the man and the Dinorob are usually the same, even after the eventual marriage, so there isn’t anything particularly noteworthy on this.
Curiously: there have been rumors recently of a new type of subspecies of the Dinorob, so frequent in fact that people have already named the supposed subspecies: calling them the “T2 Dinorob” With the T2 apparently standing for Transmetal-two. Nothing has been confirmed about this though, and their existence is still mostly speculative.
(Okay, I hope a scaly friend of mine is happy, because from what I could tell this was the Transmorpher that he was looking forward to the most! I was planning on doing this one anyway though, so it works out, not to mention I’ve always felt a fondess for Dinobot in the original Beast wars anyway, in fact he was my 3rd favorite character, so this was fun to do!
