Species: White Horn
Type: Transmorpher(Autob)
Habitat: Open spaces, with teammates
Disposition: Warm, cheerful, calm
Diet: Energon, Men’s spirit energy
A member of the Technos, Lightspeeds appear as red and white White Horns,.with their bottom halves being obviously robotic with even two guns that can flip up on command. It is theorized that the reason the Lightspeeds are based on that particular species is because of their alt-mode: being that of a large, futuristic car, and per their name they are among the fastest of all Transmorphers. Like the rest of the Technos they were created by the manamo Grimlocke, and can combine with the rest of their teammates into the gestalt Computora, forming the right leg.
Out of all the Techno’s, Lightspeeds are perhaps the only ones out of the group to almost embody the ideal of the team: with high intellects, decent power, and of course their almost supersonic speed, Lightspeeds have few hang-ups in combat, and are usually capable of turning things around and rallying their teammates into the continuation of fighting. On the surface it seems like they have it all fine and dandy physically, but mentally it’s somewhat of a another story. Simply put: all Lightspeeds have an almost instinctual desire for flight, and indeed: it is a deeply rooted want for their species. However: due to the enormous amount of work, energy and parts that would be needed to completely rework their design to be able to lift off, every member of their species will always instinctively say no to any offers for it, both their ideals as an Autob and the simple fact that the materials could go to other Transmorphers that sorely need them, they have come to accept that it is simply not meant to be(Though they will constantly ask many airborne Autobs to take them up with them if they have the chance, as that is normally satisfactory enough for them,)
Despite all of earlier descriptions though , Lightspeeds do have one notable weakness: due to a irregularity their bodies cannot properly absorb spirit energy the normal way, and if they attempt to ingest it their bodies will treat it as poison, causing them excruciating pain if they take in too much. Because of this: they must resort to consuming the Transmorphers natural diet: a mineral called Energon, as a substitute. Unfortunately for them though; the substance is not particularly common and most other Transmorphers will agree that spirit energy has come to taste better to them, and the energon usually feels like a appetizer in comparison. In spite of this though the Lightspeed will usually not complain about it, and will keep her usual attitude in place to ensure that her teammates don’t get worried for her.
While nearly all spirit energy is toxic to them, there IS an exception; oddly enough, for every Lightspeed there always seems to be a specific male whose energy is not damaging to her(Or at least, more bearable in comparison to most.) and the Lightspeeds instinctively know how to find him. Due to the usual distance and the odds of finding the one guy with all the people there are, they will then put their species name to good use and race around every continent and land until they find him. Once they happen to find him after their trip(The length of searching depends on many factors, location notwithstanding.) they will attempt to ask for his assistance in the matter via copulation even if he happens to already be married. Usually the sheer geniality in their request and potential payments she will offer will usually be enough for most unmarried men, with even the wives of the married ones consenting once they make it clear that they’re disinterested in doing it for selfish reasons: and that they only wish to get correct nutrients so they can better help their team in missions, any possible resistance will melt away and she will be able to copulate with him. After this the Lightspeed will be as loving and patient with her husband as possible, always believing him to deserve the best from her since she inserted herself and her teammates into his life, and she will try to get the other Techno’s to do everything that he wants as well.
For a Lightspeed whose other Techno members have already found a husband though, things will usually turn out differently, ending up being a classic case of his exposure making her body more adaptable, and more used to his Spirit energy, thus making absorption easier on her, allowing her to love her husband like the other Technos with no issue. Fortunately: this a rather quick process and there is no downside.
(Welp, Sorry to everyone that this one was on hiatus. I was planning to get this one WEEKS ago, but a large number of things prevented me from doing this, so my apologies. Now with the original character this is based on, most of it had to do with the desire of flight, but I didn’t really want to repeat that sort of trope for this particular one, so I made it instead about the only listed weakness from the G1 profile, and I like to think it worked. If you like this one then feel free to leave any thoughts or worthwhile comments down below. If you want to see the main Transmorpher page to either see more species or just the general lore, then Here!!)
