The commanders of the Seacon combining team, Snaptrappers appear in their team’s uniform color scheme of turquoise and a dull pink. Morphing into a large snapping turtle for their alt-mode, they have two mounted cannons on their backs that allow them to attack when in alt-mode(Aside from an occasional bite they can give to people that come close). In robot mode they possess a large rifle, a three pronged trident, and a large teal shield(Actually it’s most of their shell in alt-mode detached, also: it forms a piece of chest armor in combined mode.). They are capable of combining with their fellow Seacons into the Piranatron gestalt, forming the torso.
Many eons ago on Cybertopia, the Snaptrappers were renowned for their merciless and brutal methods on the battlefield, with them even earning the nickname, “The bog butchers” After one single handedly wiped out an entire Autob squadron in a swamp in the Rust Sea. Fast forward to recent times, this reputation is still thoroughly suited to them: cold and methodical, they attack all enemies in their path without mercy or remorse, with the only reprieve being that the attack is normally quick unless you still stand after the first assault, which unfortunately earns the poor sap the Snaptrapper’s special attention, in which case they will attack the enemy until they either run screaming, or are knocked out for the count.
Even when outside of battle their personalities deviate little from how they are in battle. Cold and largely without any kindness, the only interactions with them that never seem to end badly are with their fellow Seacons under their command, who follow their orders down to the letter. They do this out of fear though: terrified that any dissention might bring the wrath of the Snaptrapper on them. Unlike others though: they know the only real weakness to them: when in alt-mode, the plates on their underside are relatively thin, assisting them at staying afloat when underwater but leaving them vulnerable to attacks from underneath. Unfortunately for the Seacons though, the Snaptrapper is aware of this and will give them a costly fight if they ever should attempt a mutiny.
Unlike most Transmorphers, Snaptrappers have no real method for claiming a mate, in fact the way they usually encounter males is through battle. They have no real preferences when it comes to a specific guy: but if during battle they spot a man who seems to be running or resisting, they will take a special interest in him and after beating him in a typical fashion, they will take him and capture him, often as a sort of trophy to the other Seacons. Then: she will make the other 5 engage with her and him in an orgy to permanently claim him from any potential snatchers(The other Seacons of course will agree to it for their own sakes…).
After the mating, the Snappertrap will consider the man her husband, and while most changes will usually go unnoticed by most, the ones closest to her will find it obvious that she is much more mellow with her husband than with virtually anything else. In fact: she will be downright gentle, always concerned for his needs and actually being kind to others when he is present, and any compliments given to her by him will possibly be the only thing to actually make her look genuinely happy; with a small unsure grin and a blush on their face. Outside of this though: her relationships will not change in the slightest, even with the other Seacons, who end up trying to please her husband just as much (This actually terrifies the other Seacons as well too: as they often worry if that they do not meet the standards and wants of their husband that the Snappertrap will once again set her wrath upon them)
(Okay, first of the seafarers down! Now: these next few ones are going to be rather special, as the G1 Seacon team was really the only G1 set that I was ever able to get, so I’m going to be having quite a bit of fun with these next few because of this, so stay tuned! If you like this one then feel free to leave a thought down below! If you want to see the main Transmorpher page to either the general lore or just to look up more species, then here’s the link:Link!! )
