A member of the Seacons, Nautilations appear as Cancers with the Seacon’s uniform color scheme. Oddly, compared to “Real” Cancers, they have a longer tail, probably due to their alt-mode (Being that of a lobster). For weaponry they typically have a three barrel gatling gun to defend themselves. Like the rest of the Seacons, they can combine into the gestalts known as Piranahtron, but Nautilations are unique in that they normally form a sort of lobster gun-mode for the gestalt mode(A feature all of the limb Seacons are capable of). Notably: many of them have voices resembling the Autob’s Megatronas, often leading to many humorous moments among the troops.
While many combiner teams are notable for having at least one member who’s usually a detriment rather than an assist, Nautilations are perhaps among the worst in that category. Originally they were supposed to be land-based Transmorphers, but at some point their designs were messed up, leaving them as semi-amphibious, much to the misfortune of the other Seacons. Don’t mistake things, they like the environment they live in, and it’s not like they actively try to hurt others(Outside of battle), it’s just that they’re simply amazingly bad at their jobs. Not only are they extremely slow when underwater (In both modes), but they have quite possibly the worst directional skills among all Transmorphers. Literally within minutes of one heading out to find something, they will not only head in the wrong direction, but because they are often unable to stay on the seafloor(Their legs have weaker grips), they will often be whisked away by even mild currents. So severe is their incompetence that it is precisely why the other Seacons often force them to take the gun mode when combining, as they do not enter the mental integration with the rest of the team, a fact they deeply appreciate since whenever the Nautilations form an actual limb of the gestalt, the Piranahtron’s effectiveness becomes noticeably impaired.
As it is: their only saving grace is that whenever they get lost, they have the inexplicable luck of finding things of value: Treasure, weapons, information, many others examples exist of this. The only problem is that they are only able to haul whatever they find off AFTER the other Seacons rescue them from whatever situation they have gotten themselves into, much to their annoyance. They are generally safe though because of what they haul in, As a Snappertrap said once: “If they didn’t bring in the occasional lost nuclear bomb or find a new energy source, we’d have left them all to rust down there ages ago.”
Despite their issues though: Nautilations themselves are typically a friendly sort, never getting angry whenever the other Seacons chew them out for their mishaps. Outside of this though: they never accept any blame for what happens to them, as far as they are concerned: it’s not their fault that they don’t do well underwater, they were originally land-based. Of course, this line of thinking further makes other bots often dislike them, but what’re you gonna do?
Aside from explorations and occasionally combat, the Nautilations odd luck also helps reel in men. Whenever a guy they happen to like comes near them, all sorts of “Situations” occur (Him tripping over seemingly nothing and falling into her cleavage is among the most common of these, but many more versions exist.). Compared to normal accidents though, the Nautilations seem to actively seek out these blunders though, viewing them as her best chance to get with the guy she wants, and so she will often deliberately start escalating the accidents until eventually the two straight up do da nasty.
A married Nautilation will often be the most open with her love towards her husband(Out of all the Seacons), and will often be the one left with him when the other Seacons go out to do something(They do this to keep her out of their hair as well.), they don’t mind though: after all: they get to have all the fun with their husbands as much as they want!
(Welp, dis a goof. For the next Seacon, I wasn’t sure on which one to do, so I basically did a roll of the dice and I ended up making this gal, hope y’all like her! Not to mention I have something a little special planned for the next one.....fufufufufuf... If you want to see more Transmorpher species or just look up the general lore: Here!)
(Upcoming species: Megatronas, Gliders, Scalors, Overbites)
