Ohaiyo! Missed me? Welp... I blame myself for not being a constant writer. With all the irregularities I've been doing, I can be a pain to await. For now, I come back with Mamono-making. Here, we have an underappreciated Oz character, given a new base of life here in Mamono Oz. For those who want to know where's she from, locate [1] ! I welcome:
SNOCTOROTROMUS
Worm Family
Bug Type
Habitat: Plains and farmlands (basically, places with even ground)
Disposition: Simple, emotionless (later, lustful)
Diet: Mana of human men, Ozian minerals
Worm specie exclusive to Oz. They are classed as one of the many alpha Mamonos that inhabit Zion (counting the Quiberon, Quox and Ozian Dragons, among others). Unlike their relatives the Sandworms, they appear before males in rare circumstances. One of which, is when they surface out of Ozian soil once every 7 days to breathe and feed.
For starters, these Mamonos are massive. The external worm body of the Snoctorotromus, lined with glossy brown scales up to its streamlined, reptile-like head, is over 40-50 ft when full-grown. The shape and appearance of their heads (reminiscent of slow worms or worm lizards) are reason why they are easily mistakened as huge serpents burrowing out of the ground -when in fact they aren't. Four pairs of eyes help them see in multiple directions. Their tails are thin enough to be mistaken as vines, which they also use to capture men.
Compared to the outside, the inner body (the true Mamono body) is a pale-white woman covered in viscous liquid. Deemed as the monster's saliva, this liquid keeps the Mamono inside cool and warm as the body travels through the earth. To breathe air, the worm body soaks in magic and converts it into oxygen that travels within for the inner body's convenience. And, just like its Sandworm relative, the inner body is a sensitive 'tongue' that samples and tastes minerals that it finds amidst its constant burrowing.
Most of a Snoctorotromus' life is spent underground. Every waking hour of their existence is dedicated to churning the soil below, shifting the layers of the earth with ease. In this environment, the main Mamono body guides the external functions in achieving the task, much like a driver handling his own car. Bony plates shield the external eyes to prevent the entry of dust while they are in motion. The reptilian head's curved snout shovels through the dirt, and in the process, helps create tunnels. Magic enters them and fertilize the surrounding earth, contributing to the overall fertility of the land above.
They are silent workers. It is rare to see them act flustered or emotionally aggravated. Then again, a peaceful smile is always seen on Snoctorotromus' as they perform their tasks. Researchers deem this odd since it had been proven that the Mamonos are devoid of emotions (they don't see other things as interesting, except mating when the need arises). It had been hinted in historical articles, however, that the Mamonos were given this task by the first Ozian king, therefore the smile they wear is a reminder of how proud they are of the honor bestowed upon them.
Thanks to their unique physiology, Snoctorotromus' don't need to surface everyday. Instead, they have an internal clock that motions them to come out of hiding once every 7 days. In those specific times, they rest on high places to bask under the sun, blending on their surroundings as if they are part of the terrain. Should they feel threatened, they release noxious fumes of DE from various bodily pores and tunnel away.
Due to them being mostly underground, the Mamono has little actual resistance to DE. When these monsters take in huge amounts of the stuff from the air, they become drunken in lust, especially those who are yet to mate. In this state, they suddenly gain an interest to hunt for a man, so they employ a simple tactic: they lie and wait for a suitable male to come within striking distance. If within the day they fail to catch anyone, they quietly return beneath the surface, their aroused selves gone before they could realize what went on. But, if a man unwittingly nears them, they expel the fumes to confound him, lash their tails to grab him, then fling him into their waiting jaws before burrowing with their intended prize.
Inside, the usual drama unfolds: the woman part pounces on the male, her sliminess allowing any article of clothing to slide down without effort. She will rub her breasts against his tool, signalling her desire to milk him for spiritual energy. Once he submits (and at this point, he won't have a choice not to), she will force her sex upon him and lick him as a way of marking her eventual husband. The marked individual's every touch will send waves of pleasure within her. In time, the simple-minded look on their faces are replaced with a lascivious grin as they mate for hours on end.
Afterwards, the man will become a slave for her charms. With her body being soft and alluring, and her unresisting aura, the man won't help but have sex with her when the chance presents itself. It won't disturb her in her line of work, but as the days pass, her emotions completely convolute to a lustful state. Sex will become a daily habit with her, too.
Some say the only way to escape a Snoctorotromus' eventual rape is by 'cutting off her head'. This is a false way of putting it as it's actually better referred to as 'nipping her by the head' or nibbling a part of her head such as the ear or tongue. If successful, she will be paralyzed in her arousal, giving enough time to one to clamber out for freedom. If you have been marked, though, be warned: she will track you down on land for as long as she has the taste of you, and so the best way of escape is to travel via water or air until she completely forgets about you.
Snoctorotromus' are often shortened in their names as 'Snocks' which makes them as close-sounding as snakes. Snocks tunnels are labeled as bothersome to many Ozian species, especially the Nomes. It is believed a gigantic Snock rests underneath Zion and is yet to find a mate of her own.

TL NOTES: Yo! I have to admit... working with a character that has very few lore, gives you the ability to spice her up with random jam. Given as she's mostly an undergrounder, I decided to up her standing as a somewhat silent, but decadent farmer. Hope you like her! Buh-bye!
