---------------------------------------------
Beetle Mamono abundant only in Oz. They are a race of intellectual monsters. They don't normally set their sights on men. Rather, they are more interested on attaining knowledge of literature and the arts. Most of their kind settle for being common assistants to Ozian scholars and professors, or collectors of literary pieces and artworks.
Legend tells that the Wogglebug race were originally insects of the family Sullivanthauros, gifted with intelligence that set them apart from other Ozian fauna. One particular Wogglebug was a curious listener of Professor Nowital: acclaimed authority on the study of Ozian Mamonos. When the insect crawled by the professor's hearth as he taught one day, he decided to perform a demonstration of how even the tiniest of organism in Oz can gain Mamono sentience. He subjected it in huge amounts of expansive Demonic Energy and used a pinch of a substance known as the Powder of Life, causing the bug to mutate and become the first representative of its kind. Having realized he made her into a charming existence, Nowital created 8 more Wogglebug Mamonos. He taught the 9 girls artistic sense and etiquette to curb Mamono instincts that are yet to grow in them. Before Nowital died, he told the first Wogglebug the tranformation sequence and instructed her and her sisters to follow his teachings. In a matter of months, the Wogglebug insects have completely converted into a Mamono race.
In a sense, Wogglebugs are like Mad Hatters of Oz, except they are saner than the latter. They wear a substandard swallowtail coat and a duck vest stretched tight across their flat bodies of greenish-white exoskeleton, plus knickerbockers of light color fastened at the knees with gilt buckles. Each Wogglebug is entitled to weave their own silk hats. The fancier their hat, the higher the knowledge they possess. Also, due to years of learning they experienced from older members of their kind, they are verbally fluent. They explain things in long verses and words with deeper meanings than intended. Sometimes, they add puns in their sentences just for fun, and also since they consider them ‘eminently proper among educated people’.
Similar to Soldier Beetles, they have the lower half of an insect. Two pairs of slender legs are underneath their rounded lower extremities, with delicate feet curled upward. Their backs are a glistening dark brown shell bearing transparent wings incapable of flight, while their chest areas are striped with bands of light brown and white. Curling antenna on the sides of their heads are powerful vibration-detectors. Their light brown strands of hair are neatly tied behind their heads. Least of all, they have black orbs for eyes that are actually, compounded for better view of their surroundings.
Growing up, a Wogglebug chooses the type of knowledge she will spend her life in understanding, and she will meet two stages toward maturity: Initiate and Erudite.
At the Initiate stage, the Wogglebug will seek populated areas. Here, she will desire to be in places of learning such as libraries, art museums or cultural exhibits. She will then search for the most respectable person there - a teacher or any higher mind of authority in line with the knowledge they want to know - and with a smile, request to study under their tutelage. Even when refused, they will wag their behinds and repeatedly insist to be the person’s student (perhaps, the basis for their name ‘wogglebug’). At these simple words of insistence, DE is infused to act like charmspeak, and combined with their sincerity in learning, the person won’t find a reason to say no.Sometimes, a total of 3-5 Wogglebugs are accepted as students to one individual.
Under the guidance of their teacher, Initiate Wogglebugs are fed continually with knowledge being imparted upon them. They ingest the knowledge ‘directly’by nibbling at information jotted down or placed on paper. Their zeal and interest will never wane – each day will be something they will look forward to. For the other end, however, a sense of endearment will develop, similar to a true teacher-student relationship. If it were a human woman, she will be soaked in the atmosphere of DE emitted from the Wogglebug’s speech, inciting her change into a succubus. For a Mamono, she will be haplessly clung to her student – completely changing the role to like a mother to a daughter.
A male teacher to a Wogglebug will soon become attracted to her vibrant aura. He will find it impossible to resist teaching her, as she will always be stuck to him in an innocent way, like a student prodding her professor for extra lessons. Her manner of speaking will become more DE-fused without her knowing it. The man will soon be taken in by her invisible charm, and before long, he will be captured by lust. He will be completely entranced to pulling her aside for sex.
The Wogglebug’s sex organ is located in the same place of that of a human female’s. Despite her being unable to lure in men conveniently like most Mamonos of Oz, her vagina opens in a way that it will accommodate and pleasure her partner. And, like a student, she will await the man’s guidance in teaching her ways of attaining pleasure throughout both individuals’ bodies.
On the second stage of Wogglebug development, the Erudite, this happens when the Mamono settles to being a wife - or has reached a point where she wants to seek knowledge with her own hands. She will begin to amass every known object connected to her branch of knowledge and form a library or museum of her own. Here, she will feel most at home and able to improve her knowledge day after day, and in this place (if she is married), she will spend her loving hours with her husband. What others may see as a ‘private lesson’ is their way of fawning him for lessons on sex : a topic that is, to them, an extra-curricular experience.
To other Wogglebugs who are yet to be wed, their collections will attract intellectuals to seeing them. The bigger the intellectual, the more revered they will become, and sometimes a man will be led in, drawn to becoming their apprentice. If this occurs, the roles will be reversed, with the Wogglebug being the teacher instead. Charmspeak will eventually draw the man into sex with his educator – but same as earlier, she will be unlearned enough to be mentored into coitus by her student.
Wogglebugs are close to the Ozian Fairies, as one known Wogglebug was once appointed as an advisor to the Fey King ages ago. They are also, close to Scarecrows, and are known to invite these inquisitive Mamono minds to their homes to share logical conversations that are often, too high-brow to be understood.

NOTE: Here we go, peeps, the Wogglebug! At first, she's the innocent girl you'd want to teach some tricks on. But if she heads to Erudite stage, you get the teacher-student play. Hafta admit, I completely changed her from the stylish dude from the Ozian stories. It's quite a makeover. So, in my regards, hope she suits to your liking ! Sore ja~!
