Species: Varies(Usually Lizardmen)
Type: Transmoprher(Deceptor)
Habitat: Varies, Reptile Kingdom
Disposition: Varies(Depends on species they impersonate.)
Diet: Men’s spirit energy
Appearing as purple and gold Transmorphers, Iguanoids are one of the few bots capable of using pretender technology like the Bludgeon(Basically, assuming the form of another being and assuming all of said beings qualities physically), they assume the forms of reptilian manamo (Usually Lizardmen because they’re the easiest forms to take, though they can be any other type of reptilian manamo if they want to), often replicating the habits and personalities of the species they appear as almost down to the letter. In their robotic mode they can morph into a Cybertopian motorcycle.
While many Cybertopian species have been known to hold a special affection for many earthen creatures (aside from humans), many would agree that the Iguanoids practical worship of all things reptillia is the most notable. Hopelessly fascinated by and obsessed with reptiles, more often than not: usually when outside of combat they will be found staring at their own reflection when they assume their organic mode. They’re not vain by any means, they are simply so in love with they often call “Scaley cuties”, that they can’t help it. In fact: nearly everything they do usually has something to do with reptiles in some shape or form. For this reason: many of them collect and breed rare reptiles for a living, making them surprisingly rich considering some of the rare color phases or genetic strains they can breed.
Outside of their...hobby, Iguanoids are typically quite delights to be around, usually calm and friendly to most they encounter(Though naturally they tend to form the closest friendships with reptilan manamo) Honestly: the only time they ever seem to get angry is when either their pretender shells are damaged or when they find a reptile being harassed or attacked, and despite how they seem: They are still Deceptors at heart and are more than capable of putting up quite a fight. In fact: outside of their obsessive and often hyper-defensive attitude towards the objects of their affection, they are quite effective as warriors(Often this actually helps their ruse when impersonating some of the more combative reptilian manamo.)
Due to their love of reptiles, they normally have no real affection for men, typically considering them noisy people being a hinderance to them and their pets. Often the only time an Iguanoid would ever treat a man seriously and amiably is one who at least on some level shares her passion for the scales. Should the Iguanoid find the man to her liking, she would attempt to court him(The method depending on what species she is impersonating), and then mate with him happily should he pass, often simply happy they are to be bound with someone who understands their love.
Amusingly, due to how well they can masquerade the species’s form they take, the man an Iguanoid chooses often would have no idea she was robotic in nature until they mate, or even beyond(There are records of a man who didn’t find out his wife was a Transmorpher until several months after the marriage when his wife bothered to show him.). The shock usually would wear off quickly for him though, and the two would still be happy together.
When an Iguanoid is married, she would devote much of herself to her husband, attempting to get him whatever he desires if it is within her power, often, she will get him precious things like dragon scales or rare fossils as gifts for him, though often the sight of him being happy is just enough for them.
While most Transmorphers are polyamorous by nature (Combiners take this to a whole new level), Iguanoids will often see their marriage to their husband as a free excuse to have as many reptilian manamo around as they want. Thus; they will constantly attempt to get him with reptilian manamo(Or reptilian themed Transmorphers for that matter), often not stopping until he has over ten wives. Normally though the species they will bring to him will often be docile and non-violent so the Iguanoids can still take the mantle of head wife.
(Alright, this one is a special little project; now, since a scaley friend has left us and will be gone for quite a while, I thought it appropriate to make the most reptile-esque transformer-based manamo I could find, and thus; a species based on Iguanus was formed, and I think it turned out swimmingly. If you like this one then feel free to leave any thoughts or worthwhile criticisms down below. If you want to see the main Transmorpher page to either see the lore or see more bots, then here!! )
Upcoming projects: Scalors, Piranahtrons, Deathsaurids.
