------------------------------------
A peculiar Ozian Mamono that lives in the rocky area known as ‘Hill of the Hammerheads’. Extremely protective of their home, they are distrustful towards other Ozian life, and as they are unsociable they allow no one else except their own kind to pass through their habitat without their acknowledgement.
They are an original Ozian specie. No record states they are an enchanted form of a Mamono from beyond Oz, or an experimented being in the time of Circe’s tyranny. They were encountered by Dorothea Squall, who was on her way to visit Cattra, Wiccen of the North when she was visiting the Quadlings of Quadling Nation (Dorothea mentioned the Hammerheads didn’t allow her to pass through the Hill and so she was forced to tread another route). They simply refused to converse with anyone else after that time, and so it was immediately understood from the day that Circe rose to power that they are no threat. They care for nothing but themselves.
They have a gruff, rugged appeal in the eyes of others. Most Hammerheads have spiky or upturned hair above their flat foreheads, some fashioned in the shape of a (eherm) hammer’s head. Stray strands of hair fall to cover their ears, giving the impression they are near earless. Their necks are covered by high collars, while they wear a common thread of knickerbockers and jumpers and a pair of stubble shoes. They have a trait that from birth, their arms are hidden underneath their suit, tied to prevent them from being used. To this, many have assumed they are without any arms. Hammerheads are the only Mamonos known to handle things quite well without the use of arms.
Hammerheads have elastic necks and thick, bony heads that allow them to inflict powerful head butts to anyone who threatens their peace – mainly, at anything and everything. They have a stern and harsh manner of speaking that mean business. They are independent and hostile towards those clueless enough to step near them. No amount of negotiation or compromise can reach their ears. When they say no, outsiders and Ozian folk alike are quick to know they mean it. They disagree to all manners of argument, and the only way for one to make his/her words known is through the mouth of another Hammerhead. Due to their difficult nature, they are best avoided and left alone. It is to this that calling someone ‘a Hammerhead’ is derived.
The Hill of the Hammerheads is about the only place where Hammerheads are born, live and die. The hill itself is a massive subterranean city with underground systems that fulfill all their needs and adequacies. However, the city is sensitive to the footfalls of other beings save for the Hammerheads. If they sense an intruder in their turf, they will swarm out of the Hill and threaten the individual away with head butts. They will spring their necks forward, knocking the intruder until he or she is a considerable distance from the Hill. The act is nothing to sneeze at: the head-ramming can be enough to break past concrete walls.
It is true that they are selfish and unfriendly. However, in any event that a potential mate walks toward their hill home (they can sense the mana from the male individual in its approach), the Hammerhead quickest to respond grabs for him and brings him underneath the surface. Here, the Mamono will shove herself to him and freeing her locked-away arms, she will have sex with him. Their arms and hands, although spent for most of their lives hidden out of sight, are functional. The fingertips are unusually darkened, and in one poke they can leave a lasting feel of heightened sense upon the male.
Their heads may be hard, but their opposite ends are soft and sensitive. Stroking the area sends a wave of pleasure up their spine. If a man attacks first on the Hammerhead by rubbing and pleasuring them there, he may have a chance to paralyze her in sexual bliss and seize the chance to high-tail it out. Odds are, the man may become too caught up in this and soon, due to the high concentration of DE in this Demon Realm, lust will corrupt him into continuing. She will have her way with him, licking at the other ‘head’ between his legs and forcing it in her vagina to get a taste of Spiritual Energy.
A Hammerhead’s man is at her behest. He cannot leave the Hill, nor do as much as invite anyone in without the wife’s say-so. Be as it may, he will be charmed to follow her – and no other Mamono will be in his sights but her. A sight of her naked body will set his lust ablaze, as though his member is drawn to her insides. On the Hammerhead’s end, her steeled beliefs will wane around her husband. She will try to cater to his whims – especially, on sex – so as long as it does not disagree with the code of the Hammerheads. Copulation is sacred to them, for they believe that the harder is the will of their husbands (meaning, he is capable of standing toe-to-toe with the disagreeable Mamonos), the stronger will their children be in the future.
Together with the Kalidah and Bedlam, they are the ‘Wild Creatures’ of Oz – those Mamonos of which, are unsociable and will harm other beings out of mere spite. It is said that the Whiz of Oz fears them, for she was threatened by them before and even when bombarded with magic, they stood their ground and simply head-butted her away. Also, in the Hill of the Hammerheads lies a fabled treasure that was entrusted to them by the first king of Oz : the only individual they trusted beside themselves.
TL NOTE: Here's a curious one. I've heard of her infamous stubbornness, and that it's much to say, a wild one. To mix it up, the Hammerheads are a sort of just.. protective and open to its fellows, not to any random peeps. BTW LoS, tell me if this has the same name as the Sharkian you made before. Thanksees!.
