A particularly complicated species of the Deceptor variety, Barricades are notable for an sudden upsurge of recognition by others: at this point, they are among the most well known Deceptors despite being virtually unheard of mere decades ago. Most likely the reason they have gotten so popular recently is due to several of them playing prominent roles in Transmorpher based films, in which they typically star as the main antagonist. Appearance wise they are instantly identifiable not only by the apparent doors and wheels on their arms(For their alt-mode which is a police car), but also by the number of eyes they have: four. Another way of spotting one is by an engraving they all bear in alt-mode(Sort of like a family crest), saying: “To Punish and Enslave.”
....
....
At their core, Barricades are totally devoted to the ideology and philosophy of the original Deceptors, that primarily being the “Might makes right”, and ,”Peace through tyranny!” mantras; that their kind originally used to control much of Cybertopia(Until the manamoification). Not diverging from the original processes however, not only are Barricades openly rebellious to Deceptor leaders who they deem “Soft”, but they’re also one of the species openly speaking out for the restarting of the war with the Autobs: thinking that the uneasy peace between the two faction is a sign of ultimate weakness and heresy. For this reason they take it upon themselves to dispense Deceptor “Justice”, on all they see deviating too far from the code.

While they have plenty of items in their own arsenal to hurt enemies(Such as chain-maces that can launch at their arms, as well as a built-in blaster), what many consider to be the most dangerous aspect of them is their alt-mode and how they use it. When they happen to spot someone they wish to punish, they will maneuver stealthily in their cruiser mode, often getting closer and closer. Once their victim happens to see them in this mode, they usually disregard the Barricade due to their authoritative alt-mode(Not many people would be alarmed by something they could so easily “Trust”, after all). This is the greatest part of the job for the Barricades, as almost immediately afterword the morph into manamo mode and lash out at their victim, showing how much of a mistake it was to trust them. Should things happen to go ary, they are also quite good at escaping, allowing them to slip away when things get too dangerous for them.
....
....
Outside of their zeal for the Deceptor values (And the often sadistic pleasure they take when attacking dissenters), Barricades are quite polarized. While as mentioned before they would openly fight against a Deceptor leader who they view soft, should someone meet at least most of their standards: they would be said leader’s most loyal and dedicated troops, willing to do everything they can for their leader just so the Deceptor cause can advance. They would also attack any dissenters and put them back in line for their leader, even if said dissenter hadn’t actually done anything wrong. They also totally despise Autobs, but they’ll sometimes let one escape from them if they think the Autob might come in useful later, but in general they are deactivated before they know they’re a target.

....
While the Deceptor’s opinions on humans can vary from curiosity to outright disgust(At least until said Deceptor gets a husband), Barricades view humanity as a source of possible recruits. Should they ever come across a human, they will either attempt to cyberform them into a new Transmorpher if they’re female, or have them partnered up with a Deceptor should they be male. Naturally, a Barricade would be all too happy to pick out a man for herself as well, often the first man they encounter is usually the one they choose as a mate and marriage partner.
...
....
Intercource with the Barricade will usually be quite the experience for the male. Apparently, the Barricade will fully show her “Bad Cop”, side to him, often treating him roughly and using some of their “Fun” weapons on him, (Thankfully this never seems to hurt their mate.). Also, should the man be able to turn the tables and assault her instead, they would accept that as well, with one Barricade even saying; “It’s fun, it’s like he’s the bad cop and I’m the bad cop pretending to be good cop...and we’re both on break.”
...
...
With her husband the then-married Barricade is at a constant tug-of-war, with the Barricade constantly trying to bring him to following the Deceptor philosophy, while their husband will(Usually), attempt to temper her, reigning her in from what they normally do. Usually the Barricade’s win out in the end though, but sometimes if their husband has a strong enough will, he can bring her around. Outside of this, the Barricade will still love him and provide for him in any way she possibly can, as well as fight off anyone who would either hurt him or steal him from her.
...
Possibly inspired from the Radical Faction of manamo, some Barricades have taken it upon themselves to form a small splinter faction of the Deceptors, calling themselves “Ultracons”, it is currently unknown if this will become a new phenomena, but many Autobs and Deceptors alike seem to be preparing for a confrontation with this new faction.

(Alright, this was the most fun I’ve had writing for a bot in a WHILE, after seeing the new Transformer movie that came out a few days ago, I almost instantly wanted to make a manamo based off one of the bots in the movie, so after I got out of my after-movie coma, I settled on my possibly favorite movie-bot, Barricade. Now this one was a blast to do: as the character himself is so interesting, always surviving what comes at him, and I really enjoyed making a manamo in said characters likeness. If you like this one feel free to leave any thoughts or comments below. If you want to see the main Transmorpher page to see more bots or the lore, Here )
