If there was ever one word to physically describe a Transmorpher, for the Blackout it would be MASSIVE. These hulking giants, are some of the biggest bots on record for an individual Transmorpher: often around 12 feet tall maximum with an equally gigantic alt-mode: that being a MH-53 Pave Low helicopter that is normally used to transport other Deceptors. Size notwithstanding, they’re also armed to the teeth, not only with missiles and guns galore, but they can also both their main and tail end helicopter rotors as buzzsaws in battle. If they need to be stealthy as well, they are capable of morphing their helicopter engine into a scorpion drone to do their work. If something should severely damage them as well, they can live up to their name and unleash an EMP blast to utterly break all electrical equipment around them as well.
Many millions of years ago, back before the manamoification of the Transmorphers, Blackouts were usually the first species of the Deceptors to head to any new inhabited world that has been found(Usually they head straight to the capital or the strongest city), not for any sort of diplomacy or message of goodwill though: but rather to show the world's inhabitants a “Proper Deceptor welcome”. After the initial attack the Blackout would continue to raze the city to the ground, putting all of their weaponry to good use as they clear space for a potential Deceptor stronghold on the planet. After becoming manamo: these actions have not particularly changed in intent, but rather in method. While they still tear down any cities they are sent to, for the most part they leave the people unharmed(Unless they attack back...which happens often.), more often than not they will merely be satisfied with the people running in terror or accomplishing what their leader sent them to do.
For Deceptors with such destructive capabilities and large size though, they are surprisingly quite soft-spoken and reserved. Outside of combat they usually seem content with simply looming behind their leader as a bodyguard, never speaking unless commanded to or when warning of a possible threat. With others they can best be described as antisocial: they typically stay away from others and prefer not to talk: hiding away in the out of the way room or the dark corner. They aren’t shy by any means: they rather have no interest in interactions aside from their leader: who they would follow any order for, even if it would mean their own deactivation. While the method of gaining a Blackout’s loyalty can depend on the circumstance(Usually through some momentous service to her), the Blackout’s loyalty to their leader is unquestionable when it is gained. On the other hand they despise traitors: and will fight against even the strongest of combiners should a coup be attempted. They usually don’t wait until then to act however: should a Blackout notice the smallest signs of a uprising, she would head to the acting head of the beginning movement and...persuade them to stop(In fact this is the primary reason Blackouts tend to be alone: most ambitious Deceptors passionately hate them for being a massive roadblock to their plans.).
On their own a Blackout usually would never go after a mate, viewing those sorts of things tiring and not important to what their leader wants. On the other hand though a Blackout will capture a male to take to their leader as a sort of “Gift”. Should their leader have already attained a mate though, the Blackout will in most cases take him then, viewing him as a spoil of war. She will keep him in her quarters and naturally the smex will happen. When mating a Blackout will be like a curious child with a puzzle: trying to figure out how things “Work”, granted eventually she either figures it out or the male helps show her, but usually it ends with the Blackout taking control, usually ensuring marriage in the process.
Life with a married Blackout seems to be enjoyable: she gets him whatever he needs just for his happiness and will defend him like she would her leader. Despite their still not being social, they DO make their affection for their husband well known by picking him and holding him close like a teddy bear, often humming with happiness as she does so. Granted: due to their relative reclusiveness they are generally a difficult Deceptor to get along with in a harem(Especially if any of the other wives are doing something the Blackout doesn’t like), but it is not impossible as long as she is given both plenty of space and plenty of time with her husband.
(Well….finally something new after several months of hiatus! Now at this point I have at least seven more bots at the writing stage, but trips and a severe writer's block have kept me from making anything, so I feel that I should apologize for that. But anyway, school’s just starting, so I figured I might as get this one out there at least….Cheers! If you like this one then feel free to leave any thoughts or criticisms.
