I have been reading about the MGQ game, and I have some doubts. The game mechanics seem to be heavily inspired on Final Fantasy or similar JRPG computer games, but I have to say, I have never paid too much attention to FF mechanics...
I know several people here have played it, so I would like to ask, if you would be so kind...
The wiki says that Beginner Jobs level up faster than Intermediate Jobs, and that those level up faster than Advanced Jobs in turn... But, how many xp do you need to level up any of those? Is there a formula or a chart anywhere?
Also, when you change jobs, do you get to keep the skills of your previous job? Like, if you start as a Magician and then change jobs to Warrior, are you still able to cast spells? If you start as a warrior and then change jobs to Magician, are you still able to wield a sword and use, say, Shockwave Blade?
What about hybrid classes? Is a Spellsword able to use all the spells and fencing techniques previously learnt?
Also, the job chart is something like:
|

What does that percentage mean? Do the PC roll a virtual dice every time you level up and it adds the percentage of the score to you HP?
And the Ability points, are they added to your current score every time you level up? Like, every time you level up as Warrior, you add 30 to your Combat Ability? Or is it a fixed amount so long as you don't swap jobs?
EDIT: The prerrequisites to become Cosmic Magus are *Job Change Item Unavailable till Part 3*, Black Mage, Time Mage, Summoner, White Mage, Sage... does that mean that Luka needs to be Magician10/Black Mage 10, or Magician 10/Priest 10/Black Mage 10/Time Mage 10/Summoner 10/White Mage 10/Sage 10... I guess the former, because his level is capped at level 60, isn't it?
The same goes for the Demonoid race... its requirements are *Race Change Item Unavailable till Part 3*, Human, Noble Yoma, Fallen Angel... does it mean that being either Human or Noble Yoma or Fallen Angel 10 is enough, or do you need to cap several races?
Are racial levels and job level added in order to calculate the total character level? A Human 10/Warrior 10 is a Level 20 Character?
Or do race an job level up separatedly?
