"I don't need other men, I already have my idiot." Christa replies unimpressed. "It's not a bad idea, it'd take some convincing though, I doubt they'd be willing to risk their lives as well as their husbands...At this rate we might as well wait for my husband to get my sister to help for that to work," Lustia says.
"Then... Do you think it would work if you pretended you had such a weapon within your reach? If it can impress them and drive them to retreat, or at least stall them, that would spare us some time. Or maybe you can pretend the artefact Isaac recovered has the power to absorb Demonic Energy faster to release it at a later date. The real problem is if they strike back though, because then we won't have much to show."
"It would certainly be a gamble...The artifact is only armor that enhances what's already there, I doubt they'll be ready for it but still." Lustia states. "I've worked with them numerous times, they no doubt have a file on me along with a list of my associates and what I've done with my life. They won't be completely surprised by me showing up. In fact, I have no doubt they'll send Sophia to try and stop me. I'll see just how much she's grown since we entered training..." I say.
"Wait, we have yet another identified enemy? And they potentially have intel on all of us?! ...Do we still stand a single chance with all of this combined?"
Me: "So information brokers that know about us but have been keen on keeping quiet about us so, huh like the old saying goes, 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend', so do you know of any other factions that aren't friendly with the Order that might be willing to Ally with you?"
Kenzie wants to continue to snark at Christa, but the searing glare that she is receiving from Spiga prevents her from doing so.
"With a force like this we'll need all the help we can get in stopping the Order," says Micah.
She takes a small rag out of her jacket and uses it to wipe away some grime from her goggles and suggests to Red, "I think she means people that work closely with her. You, my friends, and myself would be considered small fry right now, so I doubt they'd bother to waste time gathering information on us."
"Too be honest Red, I don't know how much they have on everybody else, but their soldiers should have extensive knowledge on me, so it's a maybe. As for any other factions, my reputation might get us some mercenaries who admire me, but the rest will want payment." I state. "If it's compensation they require then they shall have it. I've more than enough gold for their ilk." Lustia says solving that problem. "Alright, I'll have Kuno-chan relay a message to the head of the guild then. I can get a few Order deserters as well and a few people from the mage guild, and, loathe as I am to ask them, I could send Baph-chan to request aid from the Sabbath; she's no longer a part of them officially and they'd rather see me tortured but it's also an idea. But I think that's as far as my influence spreads." I explain. "You know if the Sabbath does choose to aid us, they'll have their own agenda yes?" Lustia asks me. "I'm sure they would, that's also not to mention I'll have to constantly watch my back with their members around." I consider the though.
"Phew... It's fine by me if they keep their research to the bare minimum. And I hope the Sabbath won't play us some kind of trick if they end up as our 'allies'..."
(Sorry for the late reply, lots of things happened and I didn't think about checking.) "...And since they seem to want you dead, they might not be very cooperative. But at the same time, if they're not, they're in deep trouble as well, so they pretty much have to side with us for this fight."
