Non-Eye Jack
Art by JeielYozama, scholar of the Nonareichen.
Specie: Majinn
Family: Inhuman / Demihuman
Habitat: Demon Realms, settlements in the Naether, areas dense in Miasma
Diet: Mana of men
Common Statement: “That heart of yours… it’s mine for the taking.”
Jeiel’s Comment: Don’t you hate it when you feel a part of you is missing? This Mamono will trigger that hateful feeling – and more. Countermeasures include good warding magic and traveling in groups. It helps you not be singled out. Still, knowing these girls, they’re bound to find a way to get to you.
The Non-Eye Jack is a dark beast of a Mamono, commonly found within the Miasma ridden locations of the Naether. They are incredibly slippery and almost none has ever been seen up close - save for those the Mamono have whisked off. Their main form of assaulting men revolves around stealing the seat of their emotions, causing their prey to lose their normal selves and become vulnerable to their advances.
Jacks commonly have pale blue skin, furry arms and legs, and hooves for feet (these hooves are shaped much like human footwear). Their fur, upon close inspection, is actually made of fine tentacles that behave like hair. Their slender fingers have the ability to transform into random surgical tools. Tentacle growth is also found on the sides of their cheeks like catfish barbels, below their neckline to help them probe surfaces, and a single bobbing tentacle on the center of their short hair to sample the air and humidity of their surroundings. While their eyes are pale and leak unknown ink, they hide their faces by wearing deep blue masks with black eyeholes. The mask gifts them power to flatten and squeeze through tight spaces, nooks and crannies, letting them get to places far from a normal person’s reach.
Non-Eye Jacks are loners, preferring not to associate with other Mamono (even with their own kind). It is said that the reason their eyes ‘ink’ is because they often weep about how they don’t get along with other beings except themselves (which is also why they wear their masks to hide this). They are often sulking, unfeeling and empty in the way they speak. Sometimes, they would go about and observe other beings only to feel disgust while seeing them mingle with each other. Even when choosing a person to attack, they want a human male to be defiled by them and them alone. However, they find it all the more inviting to attack a person when he is in a state of helplessness, particularly when he is asleep or dead tired.
Jacks will quietly slip in on where a defenseless person is, and using their transforming hands they inject a sedative agent from their blood that numbs the person’s entire body while they use carving tools to pry their way into his esoteric surface, intent on stealing one worthy prize – the ‘heart’ or the core of the man’s emotions. They then leave in a huff, and the person will recover from his numbed state usually minutes after their ‘operation’ is done.
People who lose their ‘heart’ enter a state of emptiness. They find the drive to move or go around withering within them, and their energy drying up the minute they think of anything. Emotions soon lose their flavor and they will completely forget how to react to the world. On the other hand, the Jack will pry at the heart they stole, looking into the man in entirety and understanding him as a whole (Jacks can peek into the heart to see all the aspects and perspectives of the person’s identity). The act allows them to crave for the man all the more, and they will go as far as implant themselves into the ‘heart’ to make it seem like the Jack is a part of the man’s life, but they will continue to wait for the perfect time to enact their final move.
Within the course of 2-3 days, the man will find himself agonizing for his ‘heart’, wailing hollowly for it as he realizes it is what he is missing. Jacks will immediately recognize this as the sign they’ve been waiting for, and at the person’s most vulnerable peak they will drop in uninvited before their victim to steal him away. Both the Jack and her chosen prey will disappear into nothingness, their whereabouts becoming a complete unknown.
No one has a complete idea of what happens to the male after this (no documents or footage has ever been made about Non-Eye Jack sex) but it is believed they return the man’s heart to him and reveal their faces to the man, who suddenly gains a longing for the Jack. Their inking faces will clear as they pull the man into a sexual embrace, wanting to plant nothing but themselves into his head while he, overwhelmed by the return of his emotions, will pour it all upon her.
Some say the Non-Eye Jack was originally a surgeon Mamono created for Circe, who turned twisted after she found she was born with no emotions and she tried to pry ‘emotions’ out of her patients. There are rumours that if a spiteful Jack steals a human woman or Mamono’s heart, she will soon become devoid of emotion, the absence of a heart generating a mass of livid blue tentacles that swallow and transform her into another Jack.
Hey people! So going straight to the Mamono now. This here's a Creepypasta legacy. Just played around with the concept of the killer stealing an organ while he's asleep - with her stealing the heart instead. So don't forget to check out the Naether [this here, right here] for more info of her habitat, and see ya!
