Continuation of Part Two.
Continuation of Part Two.
Aaron exposes his hands. And at once.. Muzukiel sees why it was turning cold - it was becoming deathly pale. A far cry from the usual dark color of his skin.
"... is it bad?"
"Depends, is about as pale as a Glacies bad?" Muzukiel asked.
"... I don't... really want to talk right now. I'm sorry, I'm just... it's been a long day for me is all..." Mirabelle tried to end the conversation so she could try and get some rest after everything that happened to her.
"Oh... Alright. It's fine, sorry." He felt a bit bad prying and with nothing to do or having anyone to talk just stared out the wagon's window, waiting for the city to arrive. First impressions were important and he felt as though he wasn't doing a good job with them... Berlin sure wasn't any help too.
Aaron stares at his hand long enough. He soon sinks it into his sleeve. "... I'm afraid so." He sighs a bit and looks up. "It seems I have already reached my limit."
Aaron folds his arms underneath his armpits. "... I've been holed up in Oz for so long.. I never knew what would happen if I left it. Now, I understand why Pops preferred it I stayed..."
Mirabelle still didn't feel like talking, but she did feel a little guilty for shooting him down like that.
"...maybe after we rest up in town... and when I feel better... we can talk then?"
David looks over and gave a smile. "I'd like that!" He said with a nod before looking out the window, now smiling.
"What do you mean Aaron? What's happening to you?" Muzukiel asked, clearly worried about her husband.
When David looked out, he could see that they were leaving the forest. The both sides of the path were lined with orange crystal formations.
Aaron soon spots the orange crystal formations, but he seemed more immersed on the thought of his own problem. "...I think ever since I stayed in Oz...the magic that permeated from the land itself fed me with an immunity with the natural Mamono Realm. Now that I left it...it seems my empowerment is starting to weaken... I...might end up a bit powerless the longer I stay out."
Aaron shakes head. "No matter. I desire to continue this journey. I want to see this through to the end. I can bear with it - as long as my wits and combat skills are intact, I should be fine."
"I don't think my last name's all that important. But, if you're a wanted man. How have you managed to stay hidden in your home for so long?" she'd ask, taking off the mask. Freya's eyes gowed purple with energy, before she set the mask dow on the table.
