Continuation of Part Two.
"N-no, I think I- ahh!" Mirabelle winced in pain as she tried to lift up her oversized backpack.
MEANWHILE, in a hidden teleporting castle...
Richard smiles and takes a sip from his glass of chardonnay before placing it down to pick up his silverware and eat. "So, as much as I would hate to ruin the mood with business talk, I suppose we must discuss payment and planning right about now."
"Well, now you don't have a choice." David said, picking up the backpack and slinging it over his shoulder. "You should really take it easy. I could carry you too if you wanted." He joked, giving a laugh and a smile.
"Hehehe..." Mirabelle giggles nervously, not sure how she should respond. As David starts walking up the stairs, she noticed something long, red, and very dangerous falling out a hole in the bottom she swears wasn't there before. "Be careful!" She dives and catches it just in time, then hurriedly puts it back inside and tries to seal up the hole.
"You're right, I'd hate to ruin the mood. But, things must be done. Now, how much are you expecting to be paid?" Freya asked, picking up her silverware and began to cut into the swordfish.
MEANWHILE...
Monica had gotten undressed and climbed into bed.
Hm... Maybe what he said wasn't that funny. He was just trying to joke around though... But he shrugged the thought off. Not seeing what fell out, he gives a confused look. "Oh, sorry. Did something fall out?"
Aaron, for the most part, had grabbed for his equipment and headed to the inn, soon running up the steps with his stuff. He was still thinking about what Jeiel said about him... the thing about Gehenna trying to pull him back into their world.
No. No. I won't. I won't listen to what they say.. I will never go back there. He told himself. All of the sudden, he stumbles and falls on his face.
"OW!" He grits his teeth. "Clumsy state of mine... ow ow ow."
Muzukiel picks him up and kisses him. "Don't worry, you aren't nearly as clumsy as I can be." She said as they got to their room.
Burden left, leaving the other members of his expedition to go find Eroica. He walked through the streets before reaching the Cafe they agreed to meet at. He could see the Lamia like Dragon relaxing and drinking coffee.
"Hello Eroica, I presume that she hasn't followed you?" Burden asked, sitting down.
"Haven't been tracked by her at all." Eroica confirms.
"Good. Let's get back to the Inn. I have two new people that need briefing on what we're doing."
Happy at how he is assured by Muzukiel, Aaron troops off with her to the room, setting the items down and sitting to check his stash of equipment once more.
"....odd. I think I left something." He shuffles through his bag. " My notes are missing. Did it fall off my pocket? I thought the pockets of my cloak are made to hold and keep my items inside indefinitely." He asks himself, eyebrows furrowed.
"N-no! I-it's nothing, David. Th-tha-thank you for carrying my things for me..." Mirabelle stammers as she manages to shove the bundle of tnt back into the bag and ties up the hole. I really need a new bag! And why are you getting so flustered around him, Mirabell?! She then feels as is someone is staring at her and turns to Berlin. Why is she looking at me? Did she see the dynamite? Is she jealous? What did I do?
MEANWHILE...
Richard swallows a piece of the dish and washes it down with another sip of wine before continuing the conversation. "How much is it worth to you? We are talking about kidnapping and possibly murder, both of which earn much more severe punishment than robbery and pickpocketing."
{Unfortunately, I have to leave the Wiki everyone. I'm so sorry!}
