Continuation of Part Two.
Mirabell stopped admiring her catch of the day and dragged it over to them as she tried to get a good look at the glowing fish and sword.
"What does that mean? Are goblins and orcs nearby?"
When the sword got closer to the fish, those looking at it could see a small, thin string of magical energy connecting them. The fish was probably one with magical properties, and the sword was absorbing that magic.
"I don't know whats happening... But I think its good?" David said as he continued to hold the sword towards the fish.
"It's probably absorbing magic from the fish." Berlin said as she looked over.
Fuyu was admiring the strange spectacle that was going on between the fish and the sword. She then turned her attention to the stream and ulled out some water from it. "And just what should I make from thi- I've got it!" quickly, she started to shift the water and froze it in place as she continued sculting in the air. "A testimate to this accomplishment" she said. The sculpture was of three fishes that were breaching the water vertically. "Perfect!" she said, adding a few finishing touches and sat it down carefully next to her. "I have finished another great masterpiece!" she announced, bowing.
By the time the sword stopped absorbing magjc, the fish was dead from being out of the water for way longer then it could be, and the sword had a slight glow to it.too
Burden looked at the sculpture and decided not to comment on the fact that she had made it to commemorate catching three fish.
Aaron was still admiring the fish... up until it expired. "Oh no..." He sets the fish down on a towel. He didn't expect it would die all of the sudden. Then again, its magic was being sapped earlier, and the fish had been out of water for a while.
"I... guess we have to cook this now. It is a waste of a catch not to do so." Aaron says as he wraps the fish up for later. "Should we catch some more?"
"We could try smoking the meat we have into jerky the next time we make camp overnight, then what we do have can last longer..." Mirabelle said as she keeps her fish in a spot where it would stay alive without escaping.
"Good idea!" David said with a nod to Mirabelle's idea. Berlin meanwhile decided to take a look through Davids's backpack while the others were busy.
