"Before..." A jinko wanders close to a marble statue of an ancient of her kind. The monstrous features, far from what they are as today.
"...after" Turning to a man, she points to herself. Strong and feminine. Muscly and curvy. A far cry to what they once were, devoted to healing the wounds of the past.
"See the difference?" She approaches the man, an ex-hero persuaded to a simpler, less combat-driven life. A withered set of armor lays behind them, left rusty with years of unsued inertia.
"I guess--" She leans on him, fiercely displaying an emotion she could never had have before.
~Good. Let me further unravel the changes we have welcomed~.
A werewolf alpha prowls the forest at the stroke of midnight. Her pups had warned her of a mysterious figure that had wandered through prior and had left them frightened. She sniffs the air, waiting for any change in the scent of old leaves. Her olfactory senses are soon touched by bones, and she charges in that direction.
She continues until she spots a glowing white figure in the distance. She skids to a stop and stands tall, glaring at the being who is now looking back at her with hollow eyes and an empty smile.
"You scared my kids!" the werewolf accuses the figure as she points a claw at him.
The being shrugs and replies, "It was not my attention to spook them. I was just trying to get home."
"Well you better scram before I get nasty!" the werewolf growls.
The figure flees in a blur, and the werewolf is left shaking her head pondering what she had just witnessed.
A Tiger Warrior was approached by a Lilim "My My I haven't seen a former demon lord creature in a long time." She slowly pace herself toward him but the warrior went into a defensive stance "Oh...not interested on changing your life? That's a ashamed perhaps I can force you." She said before casting a spell that sends a huge wave of demonic energy towards the warrior.
Soon demonic energy smoke surrounded him and slowly made him weaker which caused him to accept his fate while succumb to the new demonic energy.
Soon once the smoke dissipate he or in case now she opened her eyes to see that she had transformed into a much more feminine human like look but she kept her warrior spirit "Welcome to the new era of monsters." The lilim helped her got up "Don't worry I'll teach you everything." She said to her.
A fist craddles the masked man's face, shoving him downward in a diagonal fashion "Hell no!"
Dazed and confused, the blur makes his vision unclear "We're not doing this!"
Confused at the sudden impulse of pain, the booming voice "Last jackass was enough!"
But, ultimately, his vision cleared up. Laid on the grassy floor of a breezing autumn, his hiding eyes raise to meet the angered stared of an Ogre, yellow irises scowling him just as her voice is "Of all the damn places you coul have stumbled to, why the hell here?!"
He knows she is the one who clobbered him straight. He quickly lifts his hand and pulls the trigger toward the maid-dressed marriage of muscle of curves. Nothing.
"Hey, cross-eye, I think you're missing something!" IN the dazzling confound of pain, he was robbed of his weapon. The same now held in the Ogre's hand "No soul here need a piece of shit spitting its insecurity in the shape of an overcompensating amalgamation of bucket metal and loud noise!"
Clenching her fist, the sub machine gun shatters amidst its fingers, a broom appearing on her hand from no noticeable space "Now, git! Out, before I lay your ass in the wood for some werewolf pack to find!"
Hearing her deep voice shatters the last piece of resolve he had, the flight instincts taking over and turning him away in a sprint.
"Go on, I dare you to go down that way" an Ant Arachne tries to goad a Gaint Ant into entering a part of the colony that had been abandoned for years, the darkened passageway sectioned off with Danger, Keep Out and Condemned signs.
"Uh uh, no way! I've heard that something really nasty haunts that place." the Giant Ant says fearfully. "Aww, Is the wittle baby scared of a wittle ghost?" the Ant Anrachne taunts.
"Well if your so tough why don't you go down there then? unless of course your scared aswell?" the Gaint Ant asks. "Well...I..." she tried to make an excuse while the Giant Ant gave her a dubious look "...Fine, I will, I'll show you!" the Ant Arachne relented knowing that her attempt of daring the Giant Ant had failed.
But as the Ant Arachne bagan to make her way down the dark passage a gust of ice cold wind blew up the passage way as a ghostly white figure sporting a sinister grin emerged silently out of the darkness.
Both the Bug Mamono screamed in terror at the sight before turning tail to scurry away while the ghostly figure vanished back into the shadow from whence it came.
(Old PFP, the traveling alchemist and his furry friend return)
A Mershark observes the alchemist and his pet lemur from the shore. The only sign of her existence is her forehead jutting just above sea level. She watches the duo finish up their camp and the lemur hops off of its master's shoulder onto a makeshift bench.
She dives back underwater when the opportunity for a husband starts drawing near the shore. Tension and excitement rise as she tracks his movements via her nose. As soon as he is within range, she leaps out of the water at him with her arms outstretched and her maw wide open.
The alchemist spots her coming and points at her with a glowing blue finger. Just inches from her target the Mershark is frozen in midair. Confused with her predicament, the man laughs and says, "Nice try ma'am! Better luck next time!"
He then launches her far back into the sea where the freezing spell wears off.
Infuriated with her loss, the mamono grits her teeth and thrashes about, being watched from afar by a puzzled Sea Bishop.
The Lilim looks the tiger man over, "Oh? It looks like mother missed one... Don't worry sweetie, I'll fix you right up!"
A Salamander watches the anime, confused as the giant lizard monster appears on the screen. She turns to her husband who is eating popcorn and asks, "Why are giant monsters like that so popular? With the square cube law in effect their bones would break apart from all of that weight."
"It's pure fantasy. The destruction, the fighting, it's all for the joy of entertainment for giant monster lovers like myself!" the husband explains with a grin.
She turns back to the TV just as the monster unleashes a devastating fireball on a row of tanks. With a heavy sigh she glances at her sword which leans against a coffee table, wondering what it would be like to fight a giant monster like that in head-to-head combat. This thought invokes her fighting spirit and she turns her head back to the TV.
"I could take that bastard down with my blade!" she boasts, leading her husband to chuckle with doubt.
The Tiger Warrior had been ambush by an Ocelomeh in some overgrown ruins in the deepest part of the Jungle and now a battle between two feline fighters. One armed with Bo staff and the focused disipline his training in the martial arts had brought him while fought with a savage, beastial frenzy that was common ammong her kind, armed with a primative saw toothed sword made of wood and Demon silver.
For a moment the Tiger Warrior could only parry and fend off the Ocelomeh savage strikes leaving him unable land blows of his own until the Ocelomeh did what he was hoping for. I her frustation to break his defence she put all her strength into her next attack and anticipating this the Tiger Warrior simply dodged to the side send the Ocelomeh off balance.
As the Ocelomeh Stumbled past him he counter attacked with a simple strike to her rear, sending her crashing into an already crumbled satue and leaving her out cold amidst a pile of rubble.
The Tiger Warrior quickly decided to move on as his keen sense detected what was likely more Ocelomeh heading for his position likely drawn to the sound of fighting.
A Travelling Alchemist and his pet encountered a Danuki "Nice potions you got there I'll fetch it for a good price." She said to him while he was considering the options he decided agree the offer so he gave her some of his potion and the Danuki give money in exchange soon they went their own ways.
