Not to be confused with the draconic Wyvern, Emblem Wyverns are usually encountered with Emblem Defenders and Wizards. They’re considered the offense to Defender’s defense and Wizard’s magic. They also have the best flight capabilities out of most of the other Heartless and aren’t afraid to let others know that little fact.
Straightening out after a corkscrew dive in the air, this red-skinned salmon-colored hair woman grins fiercely at you with gleaming yellow eyes and a maw full of sharp teeth. Her belly and front part of her torso is more of a tan-like color with the Heartless Emblem just above her belly-button and with scales covering her breasts. There are a single tall, slightly curved spike on each of her shoulders which descend down into her ‘wings’ which are salmon-colored and look more like tattered thin sails with holes at the end of each ‘sail’ though this doesn’t appear to deter from her ability to fly at all. Two red horns sprout at the top of her head and are facing outwards. Her legs descend into rather large three-toed black claws that are incredibly vicious looking. While she does possess a tail it is rather small when compared to other Heartless that possess such an appendage.
Unlike regular Wyverns which are merely abrasive and not all that caring for the general feelings of others. Emblem Wyverns are more considerate… in a sadistic sort of way. Their reckless nature drives them into many a dire situation that is only escapable because of their durability and the general immunities a Heartless has. Still, many an encounter with Heartless groups has not gone their way due to the sudden brashness of one flying beastess though it certainly has a charm to itself. Many a man has find themselves married to an Emblem Wyvern due to this random course of action.
As one of the best flyers of the entire Heartless bestiary, they take immense pride and pleasure in the fact and aren’t above boasting about their prowess. They’ll take on anyone if it’s a flying competition and love putting out wagers and bets for who will win though if you’re losing to one you can be assured that they’ll intend to do something lewd to you. They do take immense interest if the person in-question who challenges is a human as to them they aren’t the kind of race to actually fly all that much though inevitably, magic makes as much sense as it does to anyone else.
When wanting to get a man, regularly, they’ll strike from the sky like a regular Wyvern but they’re a lot more vocal about it and instead of getting straight to the point of it. An Emblem Wyvern delights in ‘prey’ that think that has a chance of escape, letting them start to run away or defend themselves if they think they have the necessary skill to do so. Emblem Wyverns will still do this when clearly outmatched and will even come after men who have destroyed them and after they’ve been reformed.
Emblem Wyverns actually have much more finely tuned ‘senses’ when compared to other Heartless mamono and are able to track the individual Hearts of people much more accurately than any other of their kind. If a man does escape or manage to destroy them they’ll adopt a more stalking approach that rarely works out if the man in-question destroyed them beforehand but if the man, simply escaped this becomes more of a nightmare for him before the Emblem Wyvern captures them and delights in their bodies. Wrapping their wings tight around his body as they hump his body relentlessly, over and over again.
As noted, Emblem Wyverns are more considered the ‘bloodhounds’ of Heartless and as such whenever a large party of Heartless mamono are gathered, Emblem Wyverns usually take point. While most will strike out at prey immediately, some are patient enough to merely fly over their targets instilling a delicious sense of dread and making them pop-up that much more to the other Heartless around them. Leader Emblems and Pureblood Darksides make note of this and use such abilities to their fullest extent turning a decent flying fighter into a scouting terror.
In an amusing note, if a strong man were to suddenly try to intimidate or go on the offensive without their prior note of them they’ll be easily scared and flee away almost immediately. This causes much embarrassment to the Emblem Wyvern and they’ll try to come back eventually to fight but it eventually becomes easier and easier to cow them and then make them completely submissive to the man’s whims till they’re simpering like a puppy.
If an Emblem Wyvern and a regular Wyvern encounter each other, while the other Wyvern probably won’t care much the Emblem Wyvern would definitely want to test her mettle against her draconic counter-part. If the Wyvern doesn’t have access to magical attacks than this fight becomes a foregone conclusion but if she does than most Wyverns can easily mop the floor with an Emblem Wyvern especially in their ancient forms. Though Emblem Wyverns aren’t above teaming up to gang up on one lone Wyvern and then have their way with her.
Emblem Wyverns don’t make the best wives for a calmer-life but they’ll definitely try if that’s what a man really wants. Though due to their pretty good amount of power, learning polymorph to turn their limbs into something more humanoid isn’t that far of a reach out for an Emblem Wyvern and that definitely makes such situations easier.
