Aigis bowed her head and dismissed herself before going into the adjacent room to collect buckets for water.
"So" began Jorge. How do you know of Ne'zon Cyndwella? I do not believe that you have meet her before.?"
“Schmoopy spoke of her. I got to actually see her earlier today, but that jerkoff scalie-king had to be an ass and test my patience. So I left before getting to know the pudding cup.” Cyndwella stretches her arms.
"You did? Is she doing well? How did she look? Did she look happy?"
Jorge's tone dramatically changed as the topic changed to Ne'zon.
"I truly hope that this whole situation does not leave a lasting impact on her life. How often does an entire town get evacuated because of a relative? If only that had not happened then I would have revealed myself to her sooner."
“Wow, slow up with the questions armored dong.” Cyndwella took a moment to adjust herself in her nonexistent seat, recrossing her legs. “Pudding cup looked fine. Doing well? Not by my standards. Kid lives in a room at a crap motel.”
“Yeah, but it is Ne’zon’s choice, Cynd.” Marcus looks to Jorge. “I made her an offer to take up a house in Lunalight but she wouldn’t budge. Ne’zon is determined to do her own things on her own.”
“Yea, yea, yea, I know. Just saying would’ve taken the offer, AND I’M DA CRAZY ONE!” Cyndwella jumps up, only to immediately return to a floating/sitting position.
"I am sorry but. But I was just curious as to how she was doing. Can you really blame me for worrying for her?"
"So she really is trying to forge a path for herself. I am glad to hear that she has her roots down." Jorge smiled at the thought of Ne'zon forging her own path. "If she wants to set her roots down here then I suppose that i will have to work harder to make sure that this town grows to suit her needs."
"Lady Cyndwella. The water for your bath is ready. Shall i lead you there?"
Cyndwella perks up at Aigis’ notification and hopes out of her seat. “Please do Robogal!” She floats her way over to Aigis and hopes onto the Automation’s back. “Lead the way! Hahahahaha!” Cyndwella cackles.
Marcus watches unfazed as if this was an everyday affair.
Aigis glanced over to Jorge her stoic expression melting to reveal a hint of confusion as she attempted to make sense of the situation.
"Go. Lead her to the bath. The sooner you are done the sooner you can get on with your business."
Reassured by Jorge's words Aigis stood up straight and carried Cyndwella up the stairs and down the hall to the bathroom. The room though dark and dusty appeared clean enough for use. The tub appeared recently clean but the water in it was not as sanitary.
"I apologize for the mess but I was on standby for many years."
Jorge: "What about you Marcus? How did yoi find Ne'zon out here?"
Aigis: “Don’t worry bout it sweetness.” Cyndwella snaps her fingers, and several of her tins form a cross beneath the tube. A violet flame erupts from the center of the crossed tins. It bubbles the the water almost instantly as Cyndwella pours an array of fragrant solutions into the water. As the water foams, Cyndwella undresses and dips herself into the tub.
Caressing herself, cleaning and scrubbing, Cyndwella looks to Aigis.
“Aye, do you mind?” Cyndwella shakes a sponge at Aigis, while moving her long luxurious hair over her shoulder, exposing her back. “These hard to reach spots are a bitch.”
Jorge: “How’d I find her? In a very unimpressive way.” Marcus yanks a cigar from his coat pocket. In a series of movements familiar to Jorge, Marcus bites the end of the cigar off, strikes a match on his boot and holds it to the cigar as he puffs away. Smoke bellows from the legendary warrior as he puffs his cigar, savoring it’s taste before answering.
“I was following a child’s level job that lead me to this town. Some rich, noble shit lost something that I don’t care about. Ne’zon was at the spot where my leads took me. After I saw her, I forgot all about the job and discarded the job.” Marcus inhales deep his cigar and exhales a cloud of smoke.
“Kid has guts to do things the way she is.... must be her upbringing.” Marcus says before drawing from the cigar again.
Cyndwella: Aigis was hesitant to respond to Cyndwella's request. She was not her master and had threatened him earlier, but he did ask her to comply as to quicken her burden.
"Yes man. But I request that you do not splash. I do not have any clean clothes prepared."
Aigis took the sponge and began to scrub Cyndwella's back doing her best to not wet her hair.
"How long will you and your husband be staying with us? I would like to know before the market tomorrow morning."
Marcus: "Truly? You found her by chance? Even Armata and all his agents had a difficult time finding leads to Ne'zon and you happen onto her by chance. Truly this world is strange. So you said that you offered her a place in your home and she chose not to go? I would like to say that it was her upbringing but I doubt that I had anything to do with that."
