Two men sit in an announcer's booth starts speaking to the camera "Hello to everyone at the other side of the screen, I'm Mark Thompson" "I'm John Knight" "We salute you from one of the biggests cities of the world... Monster Girl City!" "And we invite you to stay and witness an epic pursuit between man and Mamono" "Only here, in..." (Animated intro shows on the screen)
...
You and another four single guys are in the street as the host is giving you the last instrunctions, you still don't believe the rules they set up for this match, not even when the announcer repeated them in TV
In a nutshell, you have to drive from point A or where are you right now to point B, located at the edge of the city. To achieve this you are "allowed" to grab and use any vehicle... you heard right, ANY car you see on the street, a parking lot, a dealership, waiting in a red light, Etc. That's up to you. But... the second you step into the downtown, the MGCPD will start to chase you, so isn't like you can just run in straight line. Now the good news are that only MG cops can go after you, the bad news are that they represent the 60% of the force, if you get caught you'll loose and being held in "custody" by the Mamono that captured you as the film crew documents EVERYTHING. The first of you who manages to outrun the police and reach the finish will get a "get out of jail" pass and $500,000 as prize
"...We managed to get most of the people to stay indoors for today, but vehicular traffic will remain the same, so check your GPS for alternate routes. Remember, you can't get out of your car, exept to get another one and you have to do it in less than 60 seconds or you'll loose as well. And last but most important: The closer you get to the finish, the more wanted you'll become so expect more than just cops waiting for you, if you ever played GTA then you have an idea of how it works"
Whatever doubts you still had about the veracity of the game are gone by this moment, but now you're wondering what kind of fucked up contest you signed up for
"Well, that's it for my part, good luck, all of you" he waves goodbye and goes to the rest of the staff leaving you five there, with everybody's eyes on you, only waiting the signal to start
