The festivities went well into the night, Lord Aleric strutting about. Watching over his happy guests. He spoke directly to Jorge, but many other things were at play, dividing his attention.

Forjod cocks an eyebrow at Prad when he says he has difficulty recalling the details. "Do you remember who crossed to that other dimension with you?" he asks.
In his mind he thinks of Pramool calling himself the original monster. People who act like they are higher than they truly are never sits right with him, even if they are noble heroes.
@Flame
"Well, there was Jorge. Armata obviously was here, leading the rest. A man of magic and his drake companion. Aaron, if I rememebr correctly. As time went on, it was revealed that Marcus had been speelbound to their servitude. He joined once it was broken. Twins enemies had apparently taken a liking to him. Another vampire named Barnabus and yet another one who did not survive the journey. Other than than..." Prad shrugs "None else".
(Jester, Hound)
"Hold on, you mean the legendary Jaghund himself was under a hypnosis spell of some kind?" Forjod asks, quite stunned at the revelation. He knows that Pharoahs can make anyone do their bidding with their voices, but he is certain that Samia told him that she never attempted such a thing on Marcus. Still, the fact that the man himself was hit with a spell to make him someone else's servant was a surprise to behold.
@Flame
"Whatever they used, it must have been very potent to lull him. I remember that he was clad in black armor of some sort. He and Armata had one of their duels. One among many they apparently feuded out before".
@Everyone: The party started to unwind as the castle’s clock tower chimed at midnight. Many of the guests headed back to their rooms to sleep off the alcohol or spend the remainder of the evening with their partner. Aleric makes his way back to the main hall and notices the large drop in party goers.

Bertram did not react with a greater fervour, nor was he quick to correct Jorge on the drunkeness. Slowly reaches into his opened doublet, retrieving a small amulet-like necklace and sliding it toward Jorge across the bar counter. A cross, hewed with fine trim and gilded in gold, on it the words engraved 'Innocence Proves Nothing', the motto of the Order's Inquisition. "Sometimes I'm not sure if I'm an Inquisitor either, just as you don't think you're a champion. I pray its only because I'm a lousy one." The stein he held slips from his hands and spills onto the floor, it bounces a couple times and splashes his own boots. Suddenly, Chenguang stands alerted, waking up from her buzzed stupor. Bertram braces himself against the counter seemingly about to collapse, the Jinko rifles up to aid him. "There is an orphanage, Jorge, caught between the tide of the war. The Order will turn them into killers, the Extremists will turn them into trophies. There is power in you yet, and I cannot save them alone. You want an alternative? It was there the whole time, right within us, where we wouldn't need to sacrifice legions of men. We can even the odds, where even the smallest and most frail of boys can gain the physical attributes to protect his family from rapists and discern which ones are the rapists and which ones aren't . We can end this war, peacefully. Not on the Monster's terms, not on the God's, on a fair one. We preserve this, the last best hope for humanity or we sentence them into a thousand years of darkness."
Bertram's shoulders seemed to slump, and the Jinko maneuvers to cease Bertram from falling overm but he kept his eye contact with Jorge. "Have a wonderful wedding Jorge, you deserve a chance to live life and I didn't need to be an Inquisitor to know that. If you find it within you, help me with that orphanage. They don't deserve that."
Bertram throws a limp hand around to cling to his Jinko companion. "I've been spiked." He grits, speaking through his teeth to Chenguang. His skin felt like it was ablaze, a sort of blistering heat that dared to caress an earthly, primal emotion from him. "Something Profane." More on, he could feel his limbs ache to shut down, to reject the rational will and crave for the delicious sensations of warmth.
"I can find an apothecary." Chenguang replies, stablizing Bertram's exit off the stool. Bertram's legs stumble and he pushes himself further into her assisting grapple.
"No. I can't bloody trust them they might have been the ones that did it for all we know."
"What else is there?" Chenguang retorts.
"Just get me outside."

The Gahillo family notices the party guests beginning to trickle out of the main room. Mythria knows that she must be back in Iosariga before sunrise, and both Forjod and Urrack understand her duty well.
"Yeah, Marcus and Armata weren't exactly the best of buds," Forjod agrees, remembering a few of the tense moments that occurred whenever they crossed paths.
Mythria approaches Forjod from behind and places both of her hands on his shoulders. Forjod nods at his mother and tells Prad, "Well, it's been good talking to you Prad, but we must now make our leave. I hope we can meet again soon."
Before the family leaves Mythria spots Aleric and walks up to him followed loosely by her other family members. She sports a grin and informs Aleric, "This party has been most joyous Lord Aleric. Unfortunately, we must now depart back to our home country. It was good to be here and may fortune favor you in the future."

Noticeing Bertram´s plight, Ross walked by him and discreetly slipped a small vial into his hand. ¨if you were poisend this will slow it down a bit.¨ he wispered. ¨If you just drank to much then it will lessen the pain in the morning¨ He then walked off to find a place to rest for the night.
@Flame/Knight: “I am an immortal with a lavish castle and thousands of servants, I think fortune has favored me well. But I do appreciate you being here tonight Lady Mythria, the same for your husband and son. I hope you three don’t become strangers, these castle doors are always open.” Aleric then looks over to see Bertram struggling to stand and decided to go there next.
“Have good evening and safe travels home, my friends. Please excuse me, I see a guest in need of assistance.” Aleric leaves the Gahillos and approaches Bertram and his sister.
“You two need assistance?”
@Flame/everyone
"Yea, you have a good one too". Prad waves back to their distancing selves, a small simper on his expression. One quick to dismantle as he turned, now walking in a different direction.
His shadow divides to two under the apex of midnight. One of them peers back to him with a glaring amethyst. The young man's pace is besieged by the shivering sensation of hands on his shoulders. His expression is of melancholy. It was soon to end. The peace in his mind and body...
Regardless, he marches onward. At the very least, perhaps, he would be allowed a night in silence...
