"Ah, Garrick..." The butler notices Levi and the others, thinking for a moment before turning to Garrick. "Well... I'm afraid I can't comply with your first question at the moment. But rest assured, Leander is just fine. He and miss Cereza are being escorted by the ever so diligent Adeline to the royal dinner. May I ask why you all are here?"
MEANWHILE
As Hush searched around he found a bared sewer entrance. He could potentially take safety under the docks... Though, he'd have to get through the bars first. He could footsteps behind him. His other option was to go to his left and hope to find another exit.
"Master Levi is in need of a suit for his and his party's invitation to the king's dinner with Master Leander. However, our only options are to borrow one of his dress suits off of him, or have him marry an Arachne." Garrick says.
Meanwhile...
Hush hisses and considers his options, deciding on pricking himself to use his acidic blood to corrode the bars enough to break them down with a loud bang, slipping down the other passage before his pursuers could catch up to mislead them into going outside while he keeps moving.
"Yeah, and its much more convenient for everyone involved if he doesn't have to marry an Arachne for some clothes." Kasia chimed in, though she was more so thinking about how that would affect her chances with Levi then anything,
"Not a problem, it is my duty. We shall be arriving to our destination shortly. I have noted no dangers yet." She replied as she kept her vigilant watch as she drove the carriage.
"Oh... I see. Well then, follow me and we'll get Levi situated with one of Leander's suits. Hopefully, he won't mind..." The butler said, beginning to lead the group through the under-construction manor.
"Well... I'm just happy to hear that Leander is alright." Levi comments as he looks around the manor.
MEANWHILE
The guards would arrive at the bars, speaking between themselves. The sounds of footsteps could no longer be heard. Seems like Hush's trick worked... For now.
MEANWHILE
"I see, you have my thanks for such diligent work." Leander said as the castle came into view. "Ah, such a wonderful sight. Perhaps one day I'll acquire a castle as magnificent as the Kings."
"Hehehe, perhaps. Though that does seem a tad ambitious, don't you think?" Cereza asked, also gazing at the castle as it came into view.
"Yeah, it would definitely be a terrible thing if anything did happen to him... Well, happen to him in a worse way than his manor getting damaged like this." Kasia commented.
Soon enough Adeline stopped the carriage and did a double take around the perimeter. "We have arrived. I will escort you both on foot now." She opened the door and stood on guard as she continued to keep watch.
(I'm back, and in a much better place now. Sorry to halt everything guys.)
"Indeed, though I'd hate to see the bill for the reconstruction..." Garrick shakes his head before marching inside, "Regardless, we need to hurry. The master's dressing room should be on the side of the Manor that hasn't caved in yet..."
Meanwhile...
Hush hisses quietly and keeps moving, making sure not to make any sounds that could attract unwanted attention.
Levi and the rest would follow Garrick inside and on the other side of the manor they thankfully Leander's dressing room intact. Phew... "Alright, I'll try to hurry." Levi said as he entered. After a few minutes, he'd come out in a black suit and black dress shoes, looking quite sharp. Hair could use some coming, though. "Well... Blacks not exactly my favorite color but do I look good?"
MEANWHILE
Leander would stand up and step out of the carriage, offering a hand to Cereza to help her out. "Watch your step, Miss Cereza." He said.
MEANWHILE
As Hush continued on to wherever the sewer pipe he was hiding in led to, it was pretty silent. He'd then arrive to an opening after a bit of walking, the pipe opening up to the outside. He could see to the right the beach of the ocean and straight ahead and to the left was a forest. Also, to his relief, the sun was starting to go down.
"Like a presentable young man about to attend a royal event." Garrick nods, "Come, we must hurry to the carriage if we want to be on time. There is no such thing as fashionably late when summoned by name..."
Meanwhile
Hush flicks his tongue and tightens his hood and clothing before venturing out to the forrest, being careful not to expose any of his vampiric flesh to the setting sun as he slinks away.
What do you think?
