A continuation of Part Three.
(?)
The Hydra seemed to be sleepy, with the heads he named Akir and Grig closing their eyes, while the head named Veronica blinked sleepily.
Mirabelle follows, sitting next to David as she keeps petting the sleepy baby hydra heads.
MEANWHILE
"I think a better question would be, "How much is revenge worth to you?"." He says, putting his glass down on the table.
His piercing green eyes seemed to glow in the candle light, looking over the white cloaked dark elf across from him with interest.
Freya looked back at the 'Silver Mask,' "Almost everything" she said flatly.
The Hydra made sounds of contentment, and Veronica gently flicked her tongue out when Mirabelle petted her.
As David and Mariabelle petted the Hydra, Berlin approached Burden. "Remind me again where we're headed after this?"
"To the city of Cragspur, my home. It's built across interconnecting caverns, and has some beautiful architecture, or at least, I think it does."
"Can you describe it?" Mirabelle asks, continuing to pet the baby hydra head on her lap.
(Tikkit, any advice on what a fair price would be for hiring a well known swashbuckling rogue?)
"... Well, Cragspur is huge. The inner caverns in which the city is located are filled with streets and buildings, small fortress built over the years as Cragspur expanded. You will always be able to hear the sounds of some merchant peddling their wares, no matter which part of the city you're in. The crystals that grow throughout most of the Emberlight Depths are abundant there, almost always providing a colorful glow to the city."
(Five gold.)
"Wow... It's not one of those, "hanging from the ceiling and stalactites" kind of cities and fortresses, right? I... don't do well with heights, ehehehe…"
MEANWHILE
"Seven gold. Plus expenses..." He starts the bid slightly high, not high enough to scare her off, but enough to keep the negotiations interesting. This is a high class of crime after all.
