"That was... interesting", Lance thinks to himself as he noticed Aleric's weird shadow-physics trailing behind him. "Oh yeah. That just screamed 'super-trustworthy'. Thank God we're leaving".
As they walk towards outside, Lance and Meri were talking to eachother.
L: "So, it's finally over. Hey Meri, did you had fun here ?"
M: "Oh yes. There were so many amazing things I've seen. But also... a few scary things as well. But it was still amazing after all. What about you, Lance ?"
L: "Eh, I'd say it was same for me. Saw some cool things, saw other things that busted my mood, met some new people, so on so forth. But yeah, it was... interesting."
M: "What about the new people we've met ? Do you think we'll see them again ?"
L: "I... don't know. Some were good people, others were so-so; one or two individuals might not want see us again maybe-"
M: "Haww, really ? How so ? Were we that bad ?"
L: "Actualy that was on me, mostly. Sorry. But hey, we did make a few friends along the way: the Jaghubds and... well, just them, pretty much. God, I suck at this."
M: "*Tsk tsk* Lance, on one hand: I think you're too harsh on yourself. On the other hand: I think you need to learn how to better talk to people. Oooh, I know ! Lina can teach you; it's how she taught me, mostly."
L: "Yeah... maybe I do. Aw man, speaking of Lina; we got a lot to 'unpack' when we get home. And by that I mean that I have a crap-ton of explaining to do..." he says as he comicaly shudders.
M: "Hmmm ? About what ?"
L: "About... you know... us ?"
M: "Teehee, Lina will be so happy to hear about that ! And I want to tell her about so many other things !"
L: "Ehhh, yeah, sure. Just uh, don't tell her that we nearly got into trouble a few times."
M: "Uhmm, why ?"
L: "So she doesn't worry... too much."
M: "Haww, you worry too much. Are you scared that she might get angry at you ?"
L: "No I'm not... Okay, I am. Look, just don't tell her, please. Please ?"
M: "Mmmm, I think it would be unfair to Lina if we don't tell her everything. Don't worry Lance. She will understand that it was not your fault."
