"I can't speak for them, and would need to bring you there to discuss what you want out of this, but I'd be willing to personally compensate you."
"Hello, I'm Ascendare. I'm the one who pointed out that you're a Kitsune to your new husband."
Maxon gave a sly smile as he leaned back in his chair.
“Well for starters, did you know that it, or shall I say, she, is a Mamono? Because the quest page doesn’t seem to mention that little tidbit.” He said, looking the mayor in the eyes.
“Hehe, yeah. Truth be told; all I really had to do was ask nicely for it, as the Hydra is actually just a Mamono who can take a primal form.” Caelia confessed with a giggle as she scratched the back of her head.
"Before I go with you to the town, how would you personally compensate myself?" Y'sera asked, now slithering around Burden, inspecting him.
MEANWHILE...
"Oh, thank you so much! We're very happy now that we're together" she said, looking down at her husband, as she was a bit taller than him.
MEANWHILE...
The mayor sighed, "My men had not learned of this when they were inspecting and eventually, fighting the Hydra. How did you figure this out, if I may ask?" he asked, now taking a long sip of his tea.
MEANWHILE...
Elaine looked at Caelia with surprise, before both she and her brother spoke up: "It's a MAMONO?!" they asked, confused.
"Well, what would you like?" Burden asked.
"You're welcome, though trying to eat his chickens was a weird way of getting his attention."
"I would like... comfort from the town. But, from you..." she said, raising her head up and looked down at him, "Company" she'd say.
MEANWHILE...
Xiggan's ears folded down as she blushed and gave Ascendare an embarrassed smile. "Yes, I wasn't sure how else to really get his attention though" she said, looking at her husband. He smiled up at her and turned back to Ascendare, "I'll go get your quest reward. How much was it, again?" he asked.
"Oh? could you perhaps elaborate a bit on that?" Burden asked.I
"Around ten silver, I believe."
"I want to know almost everything about you. Where do you hail from? What have you done so far in your life? What skills do you possess, and the like." Y'sera replied.
MEANWHILE...
The farmer went to go get her reward.
"Well, that sounds kinda personal... But sure, if you have a good place in mind for me to tell you about myself at, than I'd be willing too." Burden said, smiling at Y'sera.
"So, Xiggan, if you don't mind me asking, how exactly did a Kitsune like you get all the way out here?"
“Heh, trust me; I couldn’t believe it myself at first.” Maxon started. “For a while, it was the fight of our lives. But after my partner and I turned the tables and began to inflict some injuries on the beast, she came out of her primordial form and threw a hissy fit at us!
You could only imagine our reaction to it all…..” Maxon finished with a chuckle.
“Umm, that’s what I said, yes?” Caelia asked, tilting her head to the side with a smile.
“One with an attitude admittedly, but that’s just how she was raised. Is it really that hard to believe?”
(Do I need to type more for my reply?)
