And indeed, as Gideon had said, pouring mana into the fountain caused part of the nearby path to open up like a hatch, and a staircase was revealed.
"On yeah! We have those. I love to knit, so Miss Altair got me some knitting needles and cloth." The Devil Bug replied, and after a few moments she approached Isaac with a box in hand.
Harold looked at Francesca. "Can you just be gentle with us both for the rest of our stay here?"
Seeing as he found the path down, he'd cautiously start down the staircase.
At the bottom he had reached a room, and he could see an open doorway leading into a torch-lit hallway.
I take the box eagerly. "Thanks, this will be so helpful!" I thank her with a big smile.
The Devil Bug smiles back, going in for a hug before remembering the warning she and her fellow Devil Bugs received when Gideon and company arrived. "Oh, um... May I hug you?"
I end the hug. "Ok, I have to go back upstairs, but I'll bring this back when I'm done, I promise!" I tell her.
"Alright!" The Insect Mamono replied, before returning to the other Devil Bugs.
With the box in tow, I set it on the counter. The kitchen has been converted into a makeshift lab of sorts. "Alright, time to get to work." I mutter.
