"As I thought..." Francesca said slyly, as she looked back to Harold and let him back up. "Now, lt's have some real fun!" she said.
Using whatever I have available to me right now, I start making different measurements for later. "Ten grams of sugar...Two table spoons of olive oil...One and a half cups of melted butter..." I say aloud measuring everything. I make a magic circle in the air and start talking to it as runic symbols displace the air around it. On Haythem's end, my notebook gave off a slight glow as runic symbols encompass the surface. "Make a note on page eighty-five: The process of potion making though common household items and ingredients is troublesome, a few things can be substituted in place of normal means. If it will have the same effect is still yet to be determined. Will amend later on. End note." I say aloud. The circle then vanishes.
Joro looked around cautiously before heading over to the doorway, peeking in. He was really trying to be sneaky...
The hallway on the other end of the doorway was empty, with the exception of wall mounted torches lit by magical flames.
Harold looked at her. "So... What exactly do you want to do?"
Haythem nodded and he took out his book to write it down, only to see that it was just already there.. "Wow uh okay then.." Haythem siad with a chuckle then looked up at his boss "I just assumed because I've seen a medusa and she spoke to me like Mamono was the only thing she could use to survive.. so I assumed it was like the only thing she could eat.." Haythem looked at her and smiled genuinely he was happy he could at the very least gain some useful insight on how the monsters worked. "so what about magic? If a mamono can't get enough spirit energy what happens to their demonic energy?"
"Honestly? She might have been newly raised, which is definitely a time when you'd want spirit energy. Anyway, I don't really know the answer to that second question of yours, sorry."
Haythem sighed a bit from dissatisfaction "I guess that was a long shot anyway." Haythem turnedaway and put hhis journal away. "Alright that was all I wanted answered, thank you for talking to me and answering my questions!" Haythem chirped happily.
"Hmm. Alright." Macta said, smiling as she greeted another customer. It seemed that his presence was really helping her business.
Haythem took his time as he grabbed a broom and began to sweep the floor, he moved around the small shop slowly making his way to the materials he needed to collect ocasionally looking at Macta to see if she was watching him.
