“Yeah, I think this will do nicely. Was my bow a good enough trade, or do you still want payment for it?” Maxon asked.
"Thats...Esme! Yes, the sylph i happened to run into." he tells Reeva. Getting closer to the lake Sinclair calls out to her, waving to get her attention.
"Hey Esme!"
"Phantom?" Giselle asked, sighing. She had closed her eyes and psychically scanned the inn. Spotting Gwendolyn talking with Burden, describing Ascendare. "Alright. I can handle the phantom, their easy enough to deal with. You handle the lizardman" she'd say, heading towards Burden's room.
MEANWHILE...
Elaine looked the bow over, "Perfect. Fairtrade for just one dagger. Pleasure doing business with you both, and I hope to see you again" she said, smiling as she returned to working in the back of her shop.
MEANWHILE...
Esme would notice Sinclair. Reeva stared at her, as she flew over and said hello.
Ascendare would follow, somewhat wary of the Phantom, and wondering if Giselle could actually handle her like she said.
As Maxon left the store with his new weapon, Caelia went and found Elaine again.
“Elaine? You must get patrons from out of town right? Do you know where the nearest town is from here, one preferably with an inn?
Maxon and I are in desperate need of a proper bed” the Wyvern admitted.
Her greetings were well received by Sinclair, who then introduced her to his group of girls.
"Esme, i would like you to meet Reeva, Payge, and Syn. My very dear friends."
Giselle had knocked on Burden's door. Gwendolyn had opened it slightly and looked outside, immediately recognizing the illusion around Giselle. However, before she could react, Giselle took notice of her sudden panic and cast a spell on her, chains of blackness had coiled around her and weighed her to the room's floor. "Now, get the lizardman," she said, looking over at Ascendare.
MEANWHILE...
Elaine stopped her work and thought for a moment, "Well... There are two villages that I know have an inn. Rottigann and Morzephyr. Don't worry though, Rottigan's closer, though there are a lot of Undead or otherwise, creepy, Mamono." she said, returning to sharpening an ax, while her brother enchanted some more weapons and armor nearby.
MEANWHILE...
Esme smiled and waved at everyone, receiving waves back. Reeva meanwhile, simply smirked at Esme and floated up to her. "So, how long have you lived here?" she asked. Esme thought for a moment before answering, "A full year so far. Tomorrow will have been another week, though" she said, smiling in return. "How long have you been traveling with Sinclair?" Esme asked in return. Reeva crossed her arms, "A few days. We already have a pact as well" she said, obviously trying to make herself appear better than Esme. Instead, Esme rushed over to Sinclair, their noses almost touching, "Sinclair! Let's make a pact! Please?!" she said, again, giving him puppy dog eyes.
"That was easy..." The blazefang would say, before walking in and towards Burden. "You're coming back to Cragspur with me, Burden. Don't make this harder than it has to be."Burden
Burden, of course, wouldn't listen. "I'm not giving up my chance to see the world Ascendare!" He'd say, already prepared to cast a spell.
(Sorry for asking, but what town is Burden, Gwenolyn, Ascendere and Giselle at? As that seems to be the place where everything is happening. lol)
{I think I said that it was unnamed.}
Giselle kept her eye and spell cast on Gwendolyn. Eventually, though, Violet would hear the commotion and poked her head in through the wall, "What's going on in here?" she asked, spotting Giselle holding Gwendolyn down with black chains and another Lizard-woman threatening Burden. Violet had turned her attention to Giselle and her eyes glowed with magical energy, as Giselle slid out of the doorway, with it closing in her face. Gwendolyn, meanwhile, was wrestling herself out of the chains coiled around her body.
Violet had stepped through the wall completely and glared at Ascendare, "Who are you?"
