(Hound)
"Yeah, sure thing, dude", replies Lance to Marcus. He noticed Marcus looking at him, giving him a vague idea of what he meant, which was accurate. "And do not worry, we know the way out. See you later, darlings" says Lina.
At last, the three slowly make their way out of Lunalight, traversing the same path they took before, on the same bridge and near the same ruins from before. Meri was walking in the front, while Lance and Lina were walking a bit behind her. During this time however, Lance was sunken deep into his own thoughts, once again mulling over the events that transpired the other night. Even though he did his best not to show it, Lina was still able to tell what he was thinking. She whispers to him.
Lina: "Lance, are you alright ? You seem a tad-"
Lance: "Oh, no, I'm... I'm fine. I was just... thinking"
Lina: "Thinking about what ?"
Lance: "A few things... nothing too important"
Lina: "... Lance, if it is about what happened last night..."
Lance: *Sigh* "... Look, maybe we should leave that some other time"
Even though seemingly oblivious, her left ear slightly perks up, as if sensing something behind her...
Lina: "Lance, you know you cannot trick me anymore. If it's bothering you this much then perhaps we could sit down and speak about it once we arrive back home"
Lance: "... Maybe. And maybe we need... to make some plans. But for now, let's just enjoy the trip back"
Lina: "Very well..."
Meri: "Oh ? Hey, what are you two talking about ?"
Lance: "Oh uh, nothing important. Just that Marcus' scrambled eggs were kinda chewy"
Meri: "Ahaha, really ? Dummy, you were supposed mix those with milk to soften then up"
Lance: "Uhh, I don't usualy do that, at least where I'm from"
Lina: "Fufufu, seems you need to expand your culinary experience, Lance. Perhaps we should organise a cooking fair, better show some wonderful food recipes that would even indulge a picky eater like you"
Lance: "Hey, I'm not-oh who am I kidding... That sounds good, perhaps"
Both the girls laugh with Lance, as they all move further and further away from Lunalight.
In the distance, there was a unknow presence watching their departure from behind thick trees, as if studying them. The Holstaur was an interesting sight, but the Kikimora and the young man were her biggest interest. After a few moments, when the group leaves it's scouring gaze, it makes itself scarce, likely going to further watch their movements in the future...
