“Ahh, Zipangu. My brother read a great deal about your land while he and I were growing up, and he always liked to tell me about it; a land where humans and monster coexist in perfect harmony. Heh, quite frankly, it doesn’t seem real to me” John admitted with a slight chuckle.
“So I can understand, coming from a land like that, that we may appear rather violent, even barbaric to you. But you must understand, the problem lies not in some of the monsters, but in most of them, including these two” he said, gesturing to the prisoners. “And most of them, including the ones that we currently face, seek nothing less than the complete enslavement of the human race. So as long as they continue to attack us, we will resist them, and strike back whenever, wherever and however we see fit. Such is war, I’m afraid.”
