"...is this normal for hobgoblins or something? Does this just kinda... Happen for them when they grow up?"
"No, not at all. Nothing in the Master's studies did it mention anything for sudden growth or intelligence." She told Beatrice.
"...Hmph, how odd." Beatrice commented.
"Indeed, I suppose we shouldn't think too much of it however, I've already informed Abigail of the situation." She told Beatrice.
"Ah, that's good. She's researched a lot, and is pretty smart... If anyone would have an inkling of what happened to Una, it's Abigail."
"More than likely, I shall do my best to continue her education, but I get the feeling she no longer requires it..." She stated.
"Yeah...." Beatrice said, sighing. "I don't want to sound like I'm discouraging her learning so much so fast, but... I kinda miss that old Una, as selfish as it is to say."
She smiled. "Is this the regrets of motherhood I hear?" She teased. It was light-hearted this time, not like before when she had teased Beatrice in a negative way. This made her realize things really had changed between them.
Beatrice blushed, flustered by the comment. "N-no! I just liked being a role model for her. Someone she can look up to and relate to! But at this rate, I'll end up being the one who's looking up to her."
She giggles. "I'm sure it'll be fine. After all, you do take after your master." She told Beatrice.
What do you think?
