The 2 things that need to happen for an anime adaptation are "a studio sees the thing and wants to adapt it" (this is typically due to the popularity of the work, its sales and popularity, specifically in japan, I believe anime adaptations frequently serve as an advertisement for the source material). I would assume the other thing that needs to happen is the author being interested in their work being adapted. I just sort of assume no studio really cares to work with the mge world (though in this case I couldn't tell you what was different between mge and daily life with monster girls, momnster girl doctor, or interspecies reviewers). I think it's more likely that kc just doesn't want anyone else to be able to make decisions on his work. Which seems reasonable.
If there was an anime, even if kc has considerable input he would probably need to allow the studio to make decisions about how his work was depicted.
There are several ways we could imagine an mge anime. A story about the fallen maidens and other official figures (even though I don't find these characters to be that interesting) a harem story, an anthology featuring many monsters and locations of the world. But realistically, the anime would probably take a very safe approach. Which is a shame because the mge has some pretty distinct monsters.
Still, I suspect we might see another anime related to monster girls within the next...five years maybe?
