Have they ever done any good things, like perhaps helping the poor and/or disabled?

That's a good point. There's barely any mention of a country where the commoners are happy and flourishing. Not until mamono liberate it atleast.
The Order teachings are also supposedly very intrusive, with human society overall being oppressing to the common person.
@The Vaudevillain Veteran
Well, deities like Eros, Ares and Dionysus could also lend a hand to these people living in squalor. Love and wine are fine, but starving people need something else.
It is weird "good" deities aren't doing anything for them...
@Galeah Maybe they might feel that`s not "their" problem so to speak, and since most of the humans living in squalor are in Order states, perhaps they feel that it`s the CG`s problem to solve, not theirs.
Typical Ningens, first they mess things up and then they wait for gods and other beings of high power and dubious background to solve their problems, not learning the lesson. And if not, they bitch, cry and moan to no end about divine injustice, cosmic punishments and whatnot.
@The Vaudevillain Veteran
Eros, Ares and Dionysus ARE Order deities. They are worshiped in Order countries, including these poor, miserable countries full of starving people...
@Hakaishin Aro
This is a world created by these deities, these countries follow the Order's gods' directions, and their leadership is often part of the priesthood... the gods share responsability for the state the world is...
Not to mention that the Order faith is from the OCG that chained humanity to a more frail existence to begin with and created monsters to cull their population. And the current CG pushed Poseidon to kill humans at sea which is part why Poseidon rebelled.
@Galeah Well you do make a good point there ngl, although their profile states that they are neutral deities so I believe while they might be sympathetic towards humans, they won`t go out of their way to ease their suffering, unlike Poseidon who is pro-monster and actively protects those at sea to ensure their safety.
I think the reason the Order practically abandoned poorer Nation like Polove was that in their eyes the poorer nation simply failed a cost-benefit analysis.
Polove for instance, it had no strategic value to its war effort against Monsters, it had next to no resource to offer in exchange for aid (crops, ore, lumber and so on).
Sure the Order maybe benevolent to other humans but their resources are finite and thus with nothing to gain in return couldn't justify spending those resources in aiding said nations.
Corvus: They can try and snap away half the population and boom! resources are not an issue anymore.
@Hakaishin Aro Maybe so, but even then that will be more people needed to fed, clothed and housed.
What do you think?
