What should it mean to be dominant in the relationship for mamonos? Is it just at the time of intercourse or not? Or does this dominant personality also affect the couple's life outside of bed?

Throwing in my two cents, but to me it always seemed like Mamono that become subs in the bedroom are likely a lot more obedient outside as well. Some, like Orcs, take this much more extreme, but it still applies to all of them I think.
Even Dragons have this behavior, as the marriage collar is to show people "this man is strong enough to have conquered me". Ironically, being subs is a Dragon's way of showing pride in their husbands, IMO.
I said before, but I don't think you actually have to be physically stronger than a Dragon or Ogre or such to earn their loyalty. Otherwise it would be impossible for anyone but a Hero to do so. Considering the MGE is all about sex, I always interpreted "defeating them" as "being the dom during sex". So, in short, not trying to run away, not fainting instantly, and trying to make them beg for you to come rather than vice versa.
Remember that, ultimately, even the most aggressive and prideful Mamono wants a man more than a man wants her. You just have to force her to accept that truth and she'll lose her pride and dominance.
It's not about loyalty, but the distant attitude one would get unless you conquer her.
That's an interesting take, but the profile states it's about strength rather than sexual defeat. Even not fainting to having sex with a mamono pre-succubization is already hero levels of prowess anyway.
Essentially it's *if you're got good enough at this or that, then you're not worth being proud of* imo
It might just be me as I dislike mamono that require you to prove yourself too, since one of the thing that makes mamono so amazing is that they will literally jump you to get you.
It's also believed that Dragons will appear in the RPG but will demand you and our harem to team up in order to beat her so she'll follow you.
He had a series of tweets about a similar topic:
There are monster girls who want to groom men who can beat them, such as Dragons and Baphomet. They are the kind of girls that ordinary people can't beat, but strangely enough, they are also rather beatable by non-hero human men.
It is suspected that the monster girl instinctively pours out experience or magic power to help level the man she likes who repeatedly challenges her every time they fight.
In other words, the monster girl is making sure to choose the man she wants to lose to (the one she likes) so that she can lose to him. ......!
Although we can't be sure, there are many stories of men who trained with Lizardmen from childhood as their childhood friends, and as they grew up, they gained an uncommon fighting ability to defeat Lizardmen.
(The lizardman was successfully defeated by her childhood friend's penis and became a lizardbride)
Someone asked if it has to be through force or could it be over something is silly as card
games:
For Baphomet, it's "I want someone worthy of being my big brother.
For dragons, "instinctive recognition of defeat" is the trigger for feminization, but it doesn't have to be pure brute force either.
I'm not sure if the card game etc. applies, it depends on the personality of the individual and their relationship with the man, but it's not nothing!
So such a mamono can choose a man to lose to by infusing him with her mana even if he's an average person?
That does make such a challenge less demanding(the childhood part is very situational though), although the core at it is still something I dislike.
I don’t remember wyverns being inherently friendly people-pleasers, I think that’s just Litya.
Mayby that is another Dragonia only thing where the whole civilization and coexistence with humans make them behave different.
Can you quote me where you got that info?
I think it's not so much that Wyverns are "nicer", but they lack a Dragon's arrogance, so they are far less picky when it comes to men: If they meet a man they like, they make him their husband, no hesitation...
You still need to be recognized as stronger in order to ride them to battle in their non-girly form (the Wyvern would otherwise refuse and say "I would rather have sex").
Some groups raise together little boys and baby Wyverns so the boy won't need to prove himself... the adult Wyvern will see the man as her brother-husband and they will work well together...
EDIT: I wonder how it works for Wurms... they pick their husband without caring his strength, and they are easily tamed using sex... but, what if they are defeated by a strong man? Will they fall for him like a baseline Dragon would?
I don't see why not. It seems baseline in dragonkins to want strong men. I can't stress enough my dislike for it.
Thankfully I prefer the beastmen family.
Hellhounds would make sense to prefer weak men, they don't see a difference in and don't prefer strong men and don't require you to prove yourself.
What do you think?
