@The Vaudevillain Veteran Thats a pretty shitty reason to permaban someone. Plus couldn't he just make ANOTHER account? How do you permaban someone anyway?
@Timjer @Ochiverde Also is there anyway to reverse the nuking of comments? Seems like almost everyone here was vehemently against it.
@Ouchmaster5000 While I agree Emerald didn`t deserve to get permabanned the first time, he had it coming the second time. Knowingly creating a second account after your old one gets banned is grounds for a permaban. Timjer was right in banning Emerald as this is a PORN site that is meant for those who are 18 years and older.
@The Vaudevillain Veteran From what the Weary time Lord said earlier, it doesn't even seem like the 18+ rule is actually written anywhere. why does a rule that isn't even officially written down HAVE to be be enforced?
@Ouchmaster5000 Because when KC first published MGE. The books very clearly explained that it was meant for an 18+ audience.
@The Vaudevillain Veteran It doesn't sound like its an official rule for the wiki, nor does KC really have any sway here (Plus for all we know its just written to avoid legal troubles, who knows if KC ACTUALLY has an issue with kids reading his stuff. I certainly don't)
Also, if the whole argument for banning him is that teens aren't "mature" enough to handle the content, isn't permabanning someone as an adult for an "immature" decision they made as minor rather hypocritical?

Ochiverde was right to permaban Emerald the second time.
Rules: Disciplinary Policy
Any user who attempts to subvert his suspension will receive a permanent ban.
Since Emerald done just that he got himself permabanned. While I agree that Ochiverde banning him the first time was extreme, he had it coming the second time. If you have an issue with this go ask Ochi why he permabanned Emerald the first time. Why must we allow users under 18 to be here? Teenagers before the age of 18 have not gone through all the stages of brain development and with internet porn being so easily accessible 24/7 it easily turns into a compulsion and it's not advised to teenagers whose brains are still developing. Teenagers, regardless of what they are told, interpret the way pornographic sexuality works as an option for real life sexuality.
@The Vaudevillain Veteran Literally every person I knew in highschool watched porn. Most of it far more explicit and degenerate than anything on this site. If its as damaging as people say it is, then everyone has been affected anyway.
And since, as far as I can tell, there's nothing stopping Emerald from just making another account and not announcing that its him this time, this whole ordeal has just been a pointless exercise in ostracization, hurt feelings and smug self-righteousness. It accomplished nothing, save for the destruction of historical data, which is objectively awful and unjustifiable
@Ouchmaster5000 Why do you want underage teens to be here? This an adult porn site not Youtube Kids.
@Ouchmaster5000 Because as someone who looked at far more pornographic stuff as teen myself, to say that I think teens aren't mature enough to handle this one would be hypocritical.
Just because I'm older now doesn't mean I've forgotten or can't imagine myself in a younger persons shoes.
And even if you disagree with me on that, permabanning someone so they can't rejoin as an adult, just because he joined as a teen is still pointlessly cruel.
What do you think?
