Rykerin's hand rested on his sword hilt, he scowled at the assassin. "Unfortunately for you, I prefer she live." He eyed the man's unique weapon having not seen its like before. Tired though he maybe if a fight was to be had he was confident it would be finished quickly. Particularly because he'd be relying on adrenaline.
Rykerin looked up at the sky and flinched as he realized he'd used up the day. He was not entirely displeased as to him it was still debatable if he could learn magic from anyone here. "Heading back to the Inn then?," he asked of Miyako.
Rykerin grunted acknowledgment and nodded before he resumed training under Miyako's direction. As much as he wanted to train all day he was well aware that eventually his body would force him to rest. Though before that he should go meet that old wizard and see if was possible to learn anything from him.
Rykerin frowned, "and here I was thinking it more of a strength. Well, maybe that's out right rage."
Rykerin ceased his attacks on the dummies. He turned and looked at Miyako, nodded and took a few deep breaths, closing his eyes as well. While on the surface this seemed to help. He was instead storing the frustration, like a coal, so that it could be used later. He opened his eyes meeting miyakos and nodded. While most certainly not completely calm after about five minutes he looked much improved.
Rykerin followed Miyako's direction. He seemed to struggle with it for a while beginning to get frustrated. Though he was successful a few times his agitation got in the way of him realizing. Even so he persisted in his attempts.
Following Miyako's instructions Rykerin would try several different breathing techniques each time he mad an attack. The tried breathing just before inhaling when his lungs were empty, He attacked when his lungs were full. He also tried mid breath, exhaling and inhaling. He frowned as he tried to puzzle out which was the better technique.
Rykerin looked around the clearing a miniscule smile flashed across his face. He altered his focus as was proper for the practice and proceeded to draw his weapon. He had gotten better, even his focus didn't wander, well not as much.
Rykerin nodded, "Alright then, let's get to it." He indicated that he was ready to follow her to where they were going to train.
Rykerin would order and eat breakfast. Then ready for training, "So same lesson today or does things get more interesting?"
Rykerin went to her table and sat down. Offered a small smile and pleasant "good morning."
Rykerin woke up as soon as his room began to brighten. He followed the same steps he took every morning and was soon fastening his sword belt on and heading down stairs for breakfast and training with Miyako.
Rykerin would go to his room, he would go to bed, a weapon placed in easy reach next to him. Eventually, his awareness would fade as he drifted off to sleep.
Once again upon entering the town Rykerin relaxed slightly, mostly imperceptible from the outside. He made his way to back to the Hero's Inn. "I'll see you tomorrow for training. I need to get some sleep."
"And I thank you for it," Rykerin stated, still he made his way back toward Istavan.
"There are much crazier stories out there," Rykerin agreed. "Also, I have reason to believe this will happen again. At least once more," Rykerin grimaced, not exactly thrilled at the prospect.
Ah hell I'm getting the you're crazy look. Rykerin grunted. "So when I disappeared, I think I was moved somewhere else. Just so happens the little fox girl that moved me wanted to play a game of tag. We played, and then she sent me back." Yep that still sounded crazy even to him. He gave a soft growl frustrated.

"I don't know. She must have used some sort of teleportation magic." He would begin the walk back to Istavan. "Thankfully all she wanted was a quick game of tag."
Rykerin groaned and closed his eyes as his vision blurred. A few moments passed and he opened his eyes and looked around.
