  • Family: Hyenaman (They get a separate category since Hyenas are a different family of animal life from anything else IRL)

    Type: Beastman

    Habitat: Savannahs

Disposition: Aggressive, Dominant, Brash, cunning, protective, highly intelligent, social

    Diet: Meat, eggs, men's mana

    Bio:

Hyenafolk are highly aggressive monsters that travel in small groups of 3-5, but solitary examples aren't unheard of. They tend to be very tall and muscular, with dark markings akin to spots visible on their shoulders and hips. The Hyenafolk are born with an enlarged clitoral structure that looks similar to a man's penis, albiet shorter and thicker than average. This structure can be used once to transform a human woman into another hyenafolk, the structure disappearing after one use. These transformed hyenafolk do not gain this clitoral structure, retaining their normal genetalia.

Their behaviors and appearance differ somewhat depending on whether or not they're in a group. Overall, they are deeply social creatures, with lone specimens having either been driven from their pack or they are searching for something specific.

If in a group, the strongest and most aggressive member calls the shots, enforcing her “rule” with an iron fist. A solo hyenaman is far less aggressive and more cunning to make up for the lack of packmates. Lead and lone females tend to be very voluptuous, while subordinate females tend to be more modestly endowed.  A pack will defer to the lead female on most decisions, including who the pack takes as a Husband. The lead female will generally pick a strong, combat-capable male.

After deciding on a man, the pack will then ambush him at a source of drinking water. The subordinate females will drag him back to the lead female after attacking him and taking his weapons and armor. She will then mount him and use every ounce of instinct she has to drive him wild with pleasure. While riding him, the hyenafolk will praise the man’s prowess in battle, attesting that she and her pack will be valuable companions.

A lone female, not wanting to risk injuring herself attacking a capable warrior, will generally go for a less physically capable, more naturally submissive male. She will follow him for hours or until nightfall, attacking while he's either asleep or preparing to go to sleep. While riding him, she’ll talk about how she loves him and wants to protect him.

Both lone and pack hyenafolk take very good care of their husbands, making sure they stay safe and well-fed. The husband of a pack will be expected to provide pleasure to the entire pack, but the lead female takes priority.

A solitary hyenafolk will do her best to keep her husband safe and well-fed, taking joy in his company as they roam together and make love frequently.

    Edits:

    2/9/19:

    Name changed to Gnoll

To answer Kingly's question, the subordinate females will follow orders from the husband, seeing his will as an extension of the lead female's. As for Primal or "Rabid" subspecies, a rare mutation can cause a genetic "Throwback", resulting in a powerful, aggressive specimen more thematically similar to a prehistoric hyena. A "Rabid" gnoll might arise rarely, though I'm uncertain of the circumstances.

As for TRK's questions, Taming a gnoll... it might be possible with a subordinate female removed from her group if the would-be "Tamer" is very strongly dominant from the beginning. If successful, the gnoll will be an amazing hunting companion, taking great joy in being able to provide for their husband. Lone or lead females are more inclined to pretend they've been tamed, only to re-assert dominance at the first opportunity.

    • Good job! But I do have a couple of Qs though. Does a husband of a pack of those creatures now listen to the human male as their leader, now that he's their pleasure giver? And perhaps there may be alterations to these hyenafolk, producing Primal hyenafolk and even 'rabid' hyenafolk. Just a couple of things i thought id mention. Feel free to pursue your own ideas, Mrs.Smut.

    • Ah the good ol' hyena. One of my favorite mammals, full of bone crunching goodness and they always laugh at my jokes.

It's a good start that much is for certain lots of room to expand upon.

IRL Hyenas actually make for good pets (provided you get them before the corpse stink sets in) and make for some of the best hunting "dogs" you can get.

I would suggest some ways to incorporate that into the hyena, maybe have some method of taming them like with werewolves. Maybe incorporating a bit with the powerhouse jaws.

I think a bit of looking througg the werewolfs official encyclopedia entry and my Ceol, Mosa, Werecrocodile, and Tyranno might be helpful. Maybe the Hellhound and my Gorgops if you're looking for her to stay in a more dominant position (outside of the tamed ones if you choose to include taming as a thing here.)

    • Also, this stuff follows D&D fairly well, so "Gnoll" would be an excellent nane if you want something a bit less generic and on the nose.

If you do want to edit this, look through the menu at the bottom of your initial comment, it has an option for that so you don't have to make a new thread or anything.

    • Wow. Good ideas there, Rep. By any chance, do you think you could help me out with the Rhino species of monster girl? Im thinking they could have some sort of a competitive rivalry with Ogres and Onis (since the oni is basically a japanese ogre).

        Loading editor
    • Two pieces of advice, one, ditch the ogre rivalry. It's superfluous and not really related to rhinos. Two, research rhinos.

        Loading editor
    • Right. Thanks for the tips! Although i was going to reasearch anyways. I kinda knew that was gling to be the case, but I was wondering if I needed to add something to separate them from Ogres. I thought the rivalry might be relevant because of both species having horns, and both would likely take very good care of them (as well as possibly brag about them), but ill ditch the idea.

        Loading editor
    • Since Rhinos are pretty docile (unless provoked) and can't see too well, maybe they have a shyer and more submissive personality

        Loading editor
    • Huh. Didn't realize that. Thanks for the tips, Ms.Smut.

        Loading editor
    • you're welcome. But yeah, Rhinos can't see worth a damn, so they have very acute senses of hearing and smell. A Rhino-girl might even be able to find a suitable husband (Or an upwelling of mana) by scent alone.

        Loading editor
    • Good tidbits, Smut! Anything else that might be translatable into a monster girl for a Rhino? I know I'm supposed to be reasearching about the Rhinoceros, but I tend to see things a bit differently. Helps to have opinions from other people.🙂

        Loading editor
    • Well, tragically they're being hunted severely for their horns, which are believed to increase male potency when powdered and eaten (buy a goddam Viagra, people). In monster-girl land, her horn (made of Keratin, the same stuff our hair and fingernails are made of, like the real animal) could be trimmed like human nails, with the powdered trimmings having some sort of lust-inducing effect when ingested, the trimmed section growing back in a few days or weeks depending on how much was trimmed?

        Loading editor
    • Nice! Add the fact that their horns are worth their weight in gold, perhaps the shavings alone could be worth that much!

        Loading editor
    • The thing is that they take just about anything as provocation.

They get an odd smell in the air, decide OH MY GOD IT'S GOING TO EAT ME and charge whatever blurry object that they see that looks like it might move.

        Loading editor
    • Well, thats where glasses come in handy then.

        Loading editor
    • Okay. Amending the personality thing. When startled (which is easy given the bad eyesight) they are terrifyingly aggressive but are docile when calm. If a rhino-girl were to be fitted with glasses somehow, perhaps the docility would become the norm?

        Loading editor
    • Possibly. I think. Rep's a veteran mamono lister, and he knows his creatures. Me? I try, but most of my mamono that I end up making are quite baseless, such as me trying to make Feudal Japan era-like girls. I try, but its no cigar for the most part.

    • That’s perfectly fine 97. I suck at drawing too.

        Loading editor
    • To make drawing this species more complicated it has two "morphs", the lead females and the subordinate females, who are very different. The lead females are more muscular and voluptuous, while the subordinates are smaller and leaner, with figures on par with the average human.

        Loading editor
    • That’s what make this monster girl very interesting. You could honestly break this species into two profiles.

        Loading editor
    • Have the leaders dubbed alpha gnolls while the others are omega gnolls. Makes them into two profiles.

        Loading editor
    • That makes sense. An omega, if separated from her pack or strikes out on her own, will develop rapidly into an alpha. An Alpha can't downgrade into an omega.

        Loading editor
    • Well, its also probably possible if the man has demonic energy in him, he may be able to dominate multiple packs of Gnoll. Btw, you don't have to put (Edit: ) and then whatever additions to it after it. Look at some of the more professionally made bios. People just add to the thread (making it into not a Q and A type of thing (sonetimes), but rather a supportive suggestion to making it better, although people asking essential questions to gaps you need to fill in is always helpful. But if you want to list people who've at least gave you sone good pointers or really good ideas, the feel free to do so, just put them within parentheses on the bottom in the first thread (the bio). Its what I think might be the best course, but again, your bio, your call. Full kudos on the Gnoll for ya. Keep putting info or consult some possibilities about how Gnolls work (or should work). I'm certain we probably can help you out (If you don't think we haven't already.)

        Loading editor
    • You could change it so, rather than being a single use thing, the lead female can make her clitoris enlarge or turn to normal at will, using it to show dominance over the subordinate females through rape or to monsterize captured human women (when she wants a bigger pack).

About rhinos, the real animals become very aggresive during heat and attack every other rhino they meet, even if they are of the opposite gender. Males and females will usually fight until getting tired, and then they will start the courtship.

Zoos have a lot of trouble making their rhinos breed. They usually put them in contiguous cages so they can see, hear and smell each other, until they start trying to touch each other through the bars without attacking... at that point they are released in an open enclusere where they can run (in case one of the two becomes aggresive anyways...).

I dunno... you could make Rhino MGs to be giant (physically and emotionally) tsunderes who will follow the man they like, picking fights with them until they become able to overcome their shyness and reveal their true feelings...

Or you could make them similar to Lizardmen, Salamanders and Hinezumis, and they seek strong men to fight, testing them to see if they will make worthy mates...

    • Ah. I see. At least you looked. Btw, I am taking quite a bit or inspiration from Tio, as the Rhino may be more defined and armored than her. The Rhino monster girl might be also stronger than Ogres despite their meek shyness and sumbissiveness when calm. Just some thoughts put together, if you agree or disagree that should be included (or not) please let me know. I value other people's opinions of what should be in a profile of a rhino monster girl.

        Loading editor
    • Aw...does that mean its not eligible for the profile? That blows! But at least its graphically within the 18 and lower range, so its good regardless. Its not perfect, its just more of a visual aid to kind of get an idea of what she looks like, just a bit more humanoid.

        Loading editor
    • Well, the Cu and Cait mamono exist, and they're basically furries.

        Loading editor
    • Indeed Tikkit, that is what is referred to as Fetish Hybridization Via Insertion Into a Setting.

Essentially Fetish A is inserted into a setting that is dedicated to Fetish B and thus becomes hybridized with Fetish B by virtue of being in the setting. In this case, the Siths are part of the Monster Girl Encyclopedia and are thus both Monster Girl and Furry, despite the fact that they distinctly furries and would not be classified as Monster Girls if they were separate from their current setting.

        Loading editor
    • Only here can saying something lead to a explanation on the mechanics of Fetish Hybridization. And the Gnoll would probably fall into that category assuming we use the black and white picture.

        Loading editor
    • Well? Is the hyena pic eligible or not? Thats kind of what I want to know right now...especially after that whole explanation.

        Loading editor
    • Can I offer help on the profile? I'll try to see what I can draw.

        Loading editor
    • Sure. Help is welcome, and its for a new user that's just made her first profile 22 hours ago.

        Loading editor
    • Not sure which category I should draw though, Should i veer to complete furry or just typical girl who looks like she's wearing monster parts. I'm fine drawing neither.

        Loading editor
    • Go for a more humanoid design, with the hyena fur, paws, and tail, not to mention some gold jewellery and some African attire (perhaps some modern fantasy clothing for more domesticated ones.) As the profile states, the lead alpha is more muscular and endowed, so use that along with the pics to get a good idea. Her face is largely human, so that way it makes kissing her much more applicable.

    • Alrighty then african based hyena girl.

        Loading editor
    • Anywho back on the subject of fetish classification, because you bastards got that on my brain and I'm going to make you suffer with me, monster girls are pretty close to the middle of the human to not human scale of waifus. Which is basically as follows

      • Humans, you know for the normies
      • Cosplay "Monster" girls, a human in clothes that is reminiscent of an animal, monster, or inanimate object. Basically still for normies
      • Demi-humans, elves, green skinned alien chicks ect. Basically human but with slight inhuman alterations.
      • Kemonomimi, anime girls with animal ears and occasionally tails. Basically nothing that can't be mimicked IRL with head bands and a belt attachment (or but plug). Some times includes behavioral differences and/or appropriate super powers to the animal species used. Approximately equal to Kemonomimi are the monstrouse Demi-humans, which is basically Demi-humans + an inhuman feature like Orcs that are 8 ft tall and have tusks and Twi'leks. This is basical as far as most normies will go.
      • Monster Girls/Boys, Where most of us actually stand here. These are girls with not only ears and tails but also physical extremetis like wings, legs, arms and such. This is less of a fictional girl in cosplay and more of an actual merge between cute anime girls and actual beast.
      • Furries, very close to monster girls if we're being honest. The chief difference is that the skin texture and skull structure run very close to the animal in question. Usually the face is more expressive and big dick sucking lips may be included. Beyond this they are completely human.
      • Demi-ferals, Literally just slap a pair of tits on an animal/monster and you're done. This is where the domain of the truly sick fucks begins.
      • Ferals, completely animalistic save for more expressive facial features and human level intelligence. Pretty much beastiality in denial. Tied with Xenophilia, wich is basically the same thing only in the form of bizarre and alien creatures instead of animals and monsters that look plausible in an earthly environment. If you ever wanted to fuck a xenomorph then you've entertained Xenophilial thoughts.
      • Full on beastiality, you know for the objectively immoral sick fucks.

The distance Fetish Hybridization Via Insertion Into a Setting will go usually depends on the author, however in the case of most monster girl settings anything that is more human than demi-humans or less human than furries would not be eligible.

      Gnoll Alpha

Family: Hyenaman (They get a separate category since Hyenas are a different family of animal life from anything else IRL)

      Type: Beastman

      Habitat: Savannahs

Disposition: Aggressive, Dominant, Brash, cunning, protective, highly intelligent, social

      Diet: Meat, eggs, men's mana

      Bio:

Gnolls are highly aggressive monsters that travel in small groups of 3-5, but solitary examples aren't unheard of. When a pack is formed, or a female strikes out on her own, she develops into what we can call a Gnoll Alpha. They tend to be very tall and muscular, with dark markings akin to spots visible on their shoulders and hips.

Gnoll alphas possess control over the size and shape of their clitoris, being able to make it grow into a penis-esque structure, then return it to normal size at will. This ability is generally used to keep her subordinates the Omegas in line, or transform human women if she feels that the pack needs expanding.

Their behaviors and appearance differ somewhat depending on whether or not they're in a group. Overall, they are deeply social creatures, with lone specimens having either been driven from their pack after a power struggle or they are searching for something specific.

If in a group, a pack will defer to the alpha on most decisions, including who the pack takes as a Husband.

While riding him, the gnoll alpha will praise the man’s prowess in battle, attesting that she and her pack will be valuable companions.

If the man’s able to hold out long enough, the alpha might get so excited that she loses control of her clitoris, causing it to assume it’s quasi-penis state. If he were to grab and stroke this growth, the alpha would melt under the onslaught of pleasure and climax repeatedly.

If he were to use his mouth on the pseudo-penis, she will quickly and repeatedly release monster energy into his body, rapidly transforming him into an incubus.

Incubi made from gnoll Mana tend to be stronger and more aggressive than a “standard” incubus. As a result, they have the potential to unite multiple packs, creating a harem of Gnoll alphas.

Taming a Gnoll alpha is impossible. They will pretend to be “broken” only to violently claim their would-be masters and milk them dry.

    • The Otohimes closest real life comparison is actually a crocodile.

    • Huh, I always thought it was a seahorse due to the curly tail.

    • In Japanese Myth "Otohime" or "Toyotamahime" is the name of the princess of Ryūgū-jō, the under sea palace owned by Ōwatatsumi aka Ryūjin. They are members of the species of yokai called Wani, essentially shapeshifting water dragons. The word Wani is also Japanese for crocodile and crocodiles were a major source of inspiration for the myth, though in an indirect fashion due there not being any crocodiles native to Japan.

In terms of appearance, yes the monster girl does look like a sea horse or it could be just a coincidence due to the direction KC took her design. I am not as well educated on Japanese myth as I am with a few others, so Toyotamahime may have some connections to sea horses that I'm not aware of, but the over all species are water dragons/crocodiles.

Of course the real star of the show was Ōwatatsumi. That guys was king of the Wani and chief among the sea gods. He was so large that any mortal that saw his entire body at once would instantly die, because it was more than anyone was ever meant to see in a single lifetime.

    • I can easily see them in a high school setting. With the pack surrounding a jock at a water fountain and the loner following one of the nerdier students home at night in the typical yandere style (minus all the killing those she perceives as rivals)

    • Makes sense to me.

    • Well... I dont visit the fan-made MG's too often, with the exception of Reptile Kingdom stuff.

I often find the monsters here disinteresting, or somewhat poorly made...

Now suddenly I'm quite happy that I came to take a look, as this is well planned, well executed, MG. And this is just about exactly what I like.

I would rate this MG 10/10

      Great job.

    • Huh, well that was just full of useful information. I'm gonna have to sock up on potions of fire resistance.
